Chapter 21: Port Royal

The Gummi ship had just took flight, soaring away from Disney Castle.

"Ok, Laphicet, any new worlds?" Sora asked the malak, who was typing away, observing the monitor.

"Two of them, actually." He answered, "But both of them are blocked by special gates."

"Well, which way do we go?" Donald asked.

"I'd say let's go to that one." Velvet answered, pointing to the world towards the right, "I have a feeling something interesting is gonna be there."

"Then that's where were heading!" Sora said answered excitedly.

"Setting coordinates to the gate," Laphicet responded, "We should get there soon."

"How do you know there's something interesting there?" Sora asked Velvet.

"Well, it's a feeling I have," Velvet answered, "I just...guessed." Laphicet rolled his eyes. The fact that the worlds haven't dull them just yet did make Velvet's answer to be true. Let's hope her instincts were right as they took off towards the next world.

The special gateway they endured was crazy, with tons of floating islands and extreme amounts of Heartless. Still, they made it through, found the keyhole, and opened the gate to the next world. They were finally able to see the world close up, along with on the monitor.

"So what's this place's story?" Velvet asked.

"Well, the only info I can get is that it's called Port Royal." Laphicet answered, "Other than that, it's still a mystery. There isn't enough info on this world, apparently."

"Velvet called it!" Sora proclaimed, making Velvet roll her eyes.

"Gawrsh, you sure it's safe?" Goofy asked, looking at the new world, "kinda looks dark down there."

"Which is why we should go!" Velvet answered, "There's bound to be Heartless there, plus, we need to find the keyhole in this world, and unlock it."

Everybody gathered to the transporter. Laphicet set up the coordinates, and the gang teleported down to the world. They appeared, they found themselves in the ramparts of a tall stone fortress, with medieval cannons facing out. There was a large bell underneath a stone archway. It was dark, and there were lit torches on the side of the wall, which had locked steel gates that led into the interior.

They walked up a flight of stairs to the edge of the ramparts and looked at the scenery.

"Wow!" squawked Donald.

"This place is..." Sora started.

"Kinda different." Goofy finished him. They saw the rocky coast, and the dark, open sea. The best words to describe the place was dark and eerie.

"What the hell?!" Velvet exclaimed which made the boys turn around to face only to be in shock.

Velvet is wearing a sleeveless white and black shirt with a red skirt, and a red corset over it. She has on a brown belt with a square gold belt buckle in the center. Over the shirt was a sleeveless red coat with a long tails and gold edging. On her arms were detached sleeves in red and white edging, along with black gloves on her arms underneath the sleeves. She is wearing a pair of knee-high black boots with two straps on each and gold buckles. Under the boots are thigh-length fishnet stockings. Hidden in her right detached sleeve was her gauntlet. Her hair was also changed into a ponytail that was moved to the left side(basically, her pirate costume from the game, without the hat and parrot). The therion was looking at her clothes strangely .

"Looks like your clothes didn't fit in with this world." Goofy pointed out which made Velvet look at him a little irritated.

"What's that supposed to mean exactly?" She asked, not liking the way the humanoid dog told her.
