Chapter 28: Riku & Mission

Eizen told the girls that Namine needed them as fast as possible. Eleanor didn't have to hear that twice, cause she wanted to see if this might lead her to Laphicet. They ran through the streets, through the crack that led to the forest, and towards the mansion. The let themselves in, and they dashed to the basement.

As soon as they entered the room, they saw that Namine wasn't the only one there. A man in a black coat stood there, with his face covered by a hood. Namine sat right at the computer.

"Who's this guy?" Eizen questioned, looking suspiciously at the man.

"Do not worry." Namine assured them, "This is a friend of mine and Sora's. His name is Riku." Both Eleanor and Eizen looked at the man that stood in front of them. He wasn't giving off the warm and friendly kind of personality.

"Nice to see that you're still alive." Viola replied to the man while crossing her arms. "I thought when you left, you would have been swallowed by darkness."

"Says the one that is supposed to keep an eye on the town but instead going to another world and doing things that we have no idea of." Riku told her.

"For your information, that is something Father asked me to do even though it was my suggestion in the first place." Viola retarded a little irritated. "You know how important she is for our plan in taking down the Organization even though she is haunted by them."

Suddenly, a yellow dog that looked part blood hound bounded out of nowhere and jumped right around them, barking happily.

"And where did he come from?" Eleanor asked, seeing the dog in front of them.

"This is Pluto." Namine introduced, "He is King Mickey's pet dog."

"Never mind that." Eleanor said, ignoring the fact that this was a pet to a king, "What do you need us for?"

"Organization XIII is making their move." Namine stated, "One of their members attempts to capture Kairi. We need to stop him at any cost."

"How do you know this?" Eizen asked.

"I've been spying on the Organization." Riku replied, "I listen in carefully on what their saying, and one of them is planning to move in."

"It's up to you two to stop this member from taking Kairi away." Namine informed them, standing up and walking to them, "Are you up to the challenge?" Viola, Eleanor and Eizen looked at one another before Eleanor responded, "If it means finding Laphicet again, count me in."

"Me and Eizen can go and save Kairi while Eleanor meet her up on the other side." Viola suggested and the arte users nodded in agreement.

"Good." Namine confirmed, then she turned to Riku, "You lead them to where they need to be." Riku nodded, then he turned to one wall and waved his hand. A black portal opened in front of him.

"This way." he said to Viola and Eizen, then he stepped into the portal. Pluto bounded after him without hesitation, with Viola and Eizen not too far behind.

The two were walking through the Corridor of Darkness, which was what Namine called them, following Riku and Pluto. Riku stopped and turned to them.

"Let's get something straight." he warned them, "I know that Viola have incredible power and you have incredible illfortne around you. Kairi is someone I care for, so you two need to save her and stop the Organization member at all cost. Got it?"

"Do you think we only do this because we got orders to follow?" Eizen asked with a smirk. "I have a little sister that I care about too, I know how important someone could be."
