Thursday Matthews is not just short. He is a real midget. Standing at 57mm (it sounds taller in mm), he is the only real tiny man of this world. Not to mention he is an infamous heistmaster. This seasoned moonlighter has stolen over 5000 small treasures in his substantial 1000 year lifetime and sold them on the blackmarket for ridiculous prices.

Thursday, like his namesake Thor (God of Thunder, Son of Odin, Prince of the Asgardians etc), has made a reputation for himself. Except instead of being a hero, he is known as the mightiest burglar Earth has ever seen. With dark hair, bright green eyes and a scabbathed blade by his side, he looks the part of the immortal swashbuckler he is. Unfortunately for him that went out of fashion years ago, so he struggles a bit with the ladies. Some say his personality doesn't suit his trade, but he has to make up for his height somehow. Yet regrettably he slew anyone who called him short, so he has a rather limited online fandom.

Thursday had what I suppose we would call a 'broken family.' His mother was the young queen of some far off kingdom of tiny people (the name is irrelevant), and his father was... non existent. Queen Walinda fell in love at the tender age of 16 with the legendary bullfighting expert, Valentina Valengina. It was a public outrage, and the two were forbidden to see each other. Out of sheer desperation, Queen Walinda adopted Thursday from a random tribe of hippies on the outskirts of the nameless, irrelevant kingdom as a sign of her love and as an act of rebellion against her restricting parents. She left her homeland and travelled to Nova Zelandia. Alas, she was eaten by a cat upon arrival. The cat was called Bob.

Our friend Matthews' latest adventure is his most ambitious one yet. He is following the great prophecy that he was granted by a fortune cookie when he was 12. 'Soon you will be sitting on top of the world.' That's right folks, he plans to steal Everest.
