Chapter 6: I Should Have Fixed This

Victor's POV:

It's been two days since I lost my baby brother, two days since I last saw his brown eyes and two days since I last smiled. I knew he would leave when the Alpha said he was banished during the conference between Alpha Reed, Luna Michelle, Dylan, Cooper, and myself. I never expected to be affected by his presence so much, even Angelo, my wolf, has been depressed by the thought of our youngest brother being gone with no clue where he went. It is that damned witch's fault, she teleported him to some location and no matter how much I begged, yes I begged, she would not disclose his location.

Even though they act and say otherwise, I can tell Jordan and Dylan are affected as well. Dylan is not as affected because the connection was destroyed and he is happy with Vanessa, our new Luna. I miss my baby brother, I know I should not have treated him so horribly even if he is adopted. I broke up with my girlfriend, I couldn't be with someone who told me to stop searching for him; I thought he would have joined another pack nearby, maybe I could have visited or made up with him and be a proper big brother. Now everything is screwed up, he is god knows where he could be dead, as more thoughts filled my mind I angrily punched the wall.

I decided I should take a break after my outburst, this isn't healthy for me. When I walk outside the packhouse I hear the guards mind linking that rogues are at the borders. I shift into my dirty blonde wolf and run, a part of me is hoping that it is Cooper, I am crushed to see that he is nowhere to be found. However, I command the warrior wolves to not attack, not only are they showing their necks, a sign of submission, but I smell her, my mate. I think of my human form and command them to shift.

My mate is a girl with dark curly purple hair that flows down to her lower back, light green eyes to contrast her hair, and she appears to be around 5'8. Her name was Jasmine Rosemary, a former wolf at Blue Ghouls Pack. They left because her brother was mated to the beta of the pack, even if he was a strong warrior wolf, they believed that two wolves of the same sex could not mate. I can tell she is extremely protective of her brother, she doesn't trust people anymore. If she hears what we did to Cooper, she will never forgive us and leave. My wolf whimpered at the thought of losing both Cooper and Jasmine, I don't want to lie to her but will she forgive me for not fighting for him? I am going to have to tell her, hopefully, she will accept me. I must find my baby brother.
