??? girl's POV

"I woke up, not knowing my name. My parents. Anything about myself or where I was...."

~~~sudden flashback~~~
"Oh! You're awake already! The doctor said you'd be sleeping until next week!"
I look towards the sound and see a boy about my age with black hair wearing a sleeveless red button-up shirt, jean capris, and sandals. I look at him for a bit then realise....I remember nothing!
"U-um...who are you?" I ask warily, my voice barely audible compared to his boisterous personality as he calls for the doctor.
"Huh? Oh! I am.....Monkey D. Luffy! Over there, the guy with the red hair, is Sha-.....Oh..he's gone. Eh he's probably at the bar again! Oh, but what's you're name?" he answered.
"Ahh...I'm...I....I don't know who I am. I don't remember anything before waking up just now."
Someone from outside calls Luffy's name.
"Comingggg!," he yells outside towards the voice. He then turns to me. "Now that you're awake, you must be starving! Come on! Wanna come with me and mother?"
"....Sure!" I say, matching his voice level for the first time.
*time skip - at the bar*
"Oi! Mother! She's awake and starving! Ohh and where's Shanks?" he asks as soon as we get inside the bar. We sit on stools right next to one another as his mother answers.
"Huh? You mean he didn't say goodbye? Go ahead and rush down to the harbor while I get her some food. I'll be there before they leave." she says.
*back to present*
"That's when I met my brother and mother!"
Gasps of awe were heard all around the bonfire from the village children. "So you don't know your real parents?!"
"I don't. Luffy, mother, and Ace are all the family I could hope to have! But, I'm going to find out some day!" I say, pulling my bright natural blonde hair with red streaks and tips into a high and tight ponytail. My hair has never been dyed or cut. "I have kept and will keep my hair long as a reminder to all that I won't give up. Not ever!"
"Oi, Hikaru Hiroyuki-chan. We're disembarking in 30 minutes, so we need to finish stocking up and saying farewells. Please hurry, sir!" a sailor said to me.
"I told you! I'm only the co-captain, so do NOT call me 'sir'!"
