Dakota's Perspective...
"Yo Alex, my man." I place my hand on his shoulder.
"Hey!" he turns around, "DK! What's up, dude?"
"We gotta talk." I reply.
"What about?" Rhy, my best friend asks.
"You know..." I tilt my head from side to side, "That deal we made."
Alex grins, "Ah! Made progress finally?"
We all sit down at the table, joined by more of my friends; Sean, Mike and Drake.
"So what you done? Met someone?" Alex asks.
"Yep." I answer confidently, "She's mighty fine."
Alex smirks, "Where she from?"
"England." I reply, leaning back in my seat with an idiotic smile on my face.
Alex doesn't look impressed, "Her name?"
"Agnes." I respond, grinning enigmatically.
"Umm... err..." Rhy tries to interrupt, putting his hand up, "I met someone too."
"Oh really?" Alex leans forward, eyebrows raised, "You're the last person I'd expect to find a girl."
Rhy looks back at Alex darkly, "Well I have. Her names' Sydney. She's from England too."
Alex chuckles, "Well I never... you guys have actually done it."
"I know." I reply, "So now what?"
"Whelp." Alex places his hands behind his head casually, "You just gotta keep this up 'til I say so. You remember what we said, yes?"
Everyone nods.
"Well imma remind you anyways, since you guys have the memories of gold fish." Alex says, "You gotta make these relationships seem legit for as long as possible. Make sure the girl falls for you; make sure she stays crazy for you. And then... when I say... you go and break it to her and tell her the whole thing was a joke, you don't actually love her." He leans in a grins sinisterly, "You were in it for the moneys."
Everyone chuckles quietly. Me and Rhy turn and smile at each other.
Alex claps his hands together, "And if you can, record their reaction. I can't wait to see the faces."
