About:

This witch lives a charmed life. . .

Hadley is the envy of every girl-and the desire of every guy. Her key to magically having it all? She's an actual witch.

As a descendant of the first woman executed in the Salem witch trials, Hadley understands the consequences if her secret gets out. The only ones who know about her powers are members of her coven, who, like Hadley's family, have magic in their blood. But there's no spell that can undo a fatal attack on the coven. All the evidence points to an age-old rival coven as the culprit, and now it's up to Hadley to lead the fight against them. At the same time, she's caught up in her feelings for a mysterious guy named Asher, who has plenty of secrets of his own.

With everything at stake, can Hadley trust her magic-and her heart?

Opinion:

I don't even remember how many months ago (yeah, months) I read this and it's overdue that I wrote this review. Anyways, this was an AMAZING book. It perfectly balanced magic and a normal life and how a teenager might use magic if he/she actually had it. I also really liked how magic is shown as something like developing muscles- the more you practice it, the better you get, and the longer you can use it. Hadley is super cool and independent and ready to face any challenge alone. The plot slowly get's more gripping and I love the way all the witches come together to tackle the problem that they are stuck in. The romance is slightly cliche but it's not very prominent in the book and it's not the bad kind- it's actually pretty sweet. The ending is perfect and I'm just disappointed that the other books in the series are no longer on Wattpad since the book is published. This book is seriously worth reading. I really loved it. (Also, that title? The pun? How can you not adore it?)
