About:
Ao is a wrathful, ravenous former god trapped in a human body and sentenced to roam the Inner Empire for all eternity.
Eternity is rather dull, until she meets a green-eyed prince and his friends.
The prince offers her a deal; serve him and live a life of delicious luxury in return. Sounds like a good offer right? But with the prince's offer comes danger, deceit, and enough almond pudding to drown a dragon.
Oh well, at least eternity isn't dull anymore.

Opinion:
I love this book so much. Everything from the plot and the writing to the world building and the characters. It's so complex, detailed and well thought out, kind of reminds me of Lord of the Rings, but with a faster pace and morally grey characters.
There's just so much happening in this book, that I don't know the best way to describe it (the fact that I've been reading it as it updates for the past 2 years probably plays a role too). There are multiple subplots which seamlessly tie into the main one, and each one is as gripping. And the number of big reveals and plot twists in this book had me shook. They're all unpredictable but obvious at the same time, and in just the right amount for it to not become annoying. And I find myself thinking about the ending everyday.
The wide range of characters and their interactions and growing relationships was one of my favourite parts of this book. I love each and every one of them and their quirks and flaws. The world building is immaculate and some of the imagery in this book is going to stay imprinted in my brain forever. The culture and history in this book is also so rich and complex, right from the muren, to the Gods, old as well as new, and how it all came to be.
This book just made me feel so many things-I was laughing one chapter and almost sobbing the next-and I highly recommend it to everybody!
