Entry #3

Today was Seto's birthday!

I made a small cake with the help of my friend Ian, decorated it and put one big candle to represent ten years, then added six small candles to represent six years, sixteen in all. Taking a match, I packaged it and carefully went outside, going through the woods. Smiling, I spotted Seto petting a deer and feeding it berries.

"Seto!" He looked over, petting the deer and letting it run off. I blushed, showing the cake. "It's your birthday today, so I thought we can celebrate it!" We went inside, setting it on the coffee table. Seto blushed, lighting the candles. "Make a wish!" I reminded him. Gently blowing the candles out, he smiled at me, which I found adorable. Cutting the cake equally, I had to say it came out better than I thought. Seto and I played and ate, him smiling widely and laughing. It was adorable, how he's so mature at times, but can be a five-year old in a blink of an eye.

"Brice, I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday with you. I never celebrated it before..." I promised to celebrate it with him each time it comes around, and to make him happy. Seto blushed again, I deciding to spend the night.

We had a few pillow fights, tea and cake, caramel and cookies. He let me have a few of the art books, on tutorials to famous artists. I wanted to sleep over, which Seto was very happy to have. Running home and leaving my parents a note, I ran back and played.

We played Truth or Dare, patty cake, pillow fight, Guess that (topic), and more. I noticed that as the night went later, Seto began to act stranger. He would appear behind me or at places I thought were impossible to get to in the time he did. But he was a fast runner and nimble, doing best in hide-and-seek. He managed to hide behind the closet!

I had so much fun, so much fun. When it was time to sleep, we shared stories, sometimes laughing hysterically and falling off the bed.

"Once, there was a new vending machine installed in my school, so every body was excited to get something. It was mostly sodas and drinks, I bought one too. The gym allowed drinks, so we sat on the bleachers. Since I was swinging my arm back and forth while walking, it shook up the bottle and when I opened it, it shot up like it does. The guy next to me goes 'yours exploded too?' 'Yeah, why?' 'Check above you.' Nearly EVERYBODY'S drinks popped and shot up!" We were both in tears, Seto rolling on the floor.

"There was this time, when we used the lids of trashcans as a frisbee. One time, it crashed into the girl's bathroom, and there were screams coming from there. The guy who threw it went to go get it after a few days, so he opened the door. No girls. Picking the lid from the floor, he went to the doorway, just as a girl opened the door. 'Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I mistakened this as the girl's bathroom!' THEN SHE WENT INTO THE BOY'S ROOM. Every body screamed!"

"NO WAY!" Practically howling in laughter, Seto had to play a music box for us to fall asleep.

The next day, I was back in my bed. The box was there, with my slice of cake sitting on a plate.

Another piece of caramel, this time designed with markings on the entrance door that Seto had.
