Ron Alden was annoyed.

As he sat down on one of the bar stools, checking the time each passing minute, his mood darkened. He checked the time on his golden pocket watch, it read;

Ten-thirty am.

His mood darkened even the more. It meant that he had been waiting in the guild for two hours thirty minutes now and the person he has been waiting for has not even showed up.

He looked around, noticing that nobody even dared to come near him, not even his own exceed. He wasn't surprised. Kiki has been with him long enough to know not to talk to her owner when he was in a start of anger. He looked at the white furred exceed sitting down at one of the tables eating a piece of cake he had bought for her earlier.

He turned his head to look at the large wooden doors of Fairy Tail. He just wished that she will walk through those doors and smile at him and tell him to follow her to go on the mission.

Why wasn't she here yet? He asked himself. Had she forgotten? Did she later decide not to go when she went home? Does she not care? Does she feel like he was a waste of time? Did she not want to go on a mission with him?

The bartender with white hair stared at one of the thirteen most handsome boys in Fiore with worry. He had been in the guild ever since eight am and his mood became worse with each second. He hasn't ordered anything, except for the cake he ordered for his exceed.

Her hands wiped the already clean glass as she decided if she should ask him what was wrong. Looking at how angry he looked and how she didn't really know him, she had a reason on why she shouldn't ask him. But looking on how he might need advice or help and how asking him could help her to really know him, she had a reason why she should ask him.

She dropped the glass when she made her decision.

"Are you alright?" She asked him as she saw him check his watch for what must be the hundreth
time that day.

His head snapped to look at her and Mira almost fainted from the glare on his face. She has never been one to be scared of a glare but his, was on another level. And it didn't look like he was even trying to glare.

"She isn't glaring. That's how her face is when she is in a bad mood." She heard his exceed say. At first she was confused with her words but then realized that 'she' is Ron.

"Yes." Was Ron's answer to Mira's question before he turned his head back to keep watching the door, waiting for Lucy to come in.

He may be annoyed, but he was no fool. After being in the guild for almost a whole year, he has watched and noted the characteristics of each member, not excluding the white haired mage, Mirajane Strauss. He knew that Mira is the girl who squealed and got hearts in her eyes whenever a boy and girl did something together and who were not in anyway related. And he knew he'd be foolish time even think of telling her what was going on with him.

Mira, on the other hand, didn't believe his answer. His aura was dark and the way he constantly kept checking his pocket watch seemed weird to her. She also knew that he is a bit detached from everyone in the guild except his exceed and Lucy and so it is natural for him to not give her the truthful answer.

"Are you sure you're alright? You don't seem so." She tried again. He turned his attention back time her and for a while didn't say anything. She felt uncomfortable by the way his ruby red eyes seemed to watch her, as if they were searching her soul.

But she had to admit, she liked the attention.

Don't think she's an attention seeker or anything like that, she just liked the way he stared at her like she was something he liked. It was the kind if attention that she always wished that Laxus would give her but would never do.
