I walked down the street heading for the rich part town first. We find a lot of homeless teens there, surprisingly. I looked at the green grass at my feet, enjoying every seof the loss of fresh morning dew. I could soon see the large, often white homes of the upperclass. I can see a young teen, probably a girl sitting on the side of the road crying with her long hair tucked behind her ears and the rest smoothed back behind her head. Every time I see someone like her, I can't help but feel for them. "Would you like to come with us?" I asked hopefully

"I-I guess I mean going with you guys regardless of the outcome is better than any other I can think of." She responded quietly almost in a whisper. She stood up almost appearing weak physically.

The young girl was very tall, and skinny, with long brown flowy hair. She stood up and continued with us. We went through the rest of the richer areas of town large buildings, mostly people with their noses to high in the air to notice us walking by. We then went to I know what it's like to sit there not knowing what to do or where to turn next. I ran up to her, my heart pounding. I reached her in a matter of seconds. I could feel my powerful legs pushing me forward trying to reach her.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, the worry probably evident in my voice from hoping the girl would respond. I do really care about these people believe it or not.

"I-I'm g-gay and my p-parents kicked me out of th-the house for it." She responded, tears still streaming down her cheeks while she's trying not to stutter,

"Shhh it's okay, we know a lot of people like you, we were once abandon ourselves and many of the people at the home were abandoned for the same reason as you." I explained hoping it was comforting to her.

the more business area of town. There we found no one but business people. With no more success, we headed to the closest exit. We at this point explained to the girl all about the organisation and what we do. We also asked about her age so that we could accordingly set her a dorm room, it turns out she's fifteen.

When we had reached the entrance again I went about asking her which of what she wanted. I then showed her to the thirteen to sixteen year old dorms.

"For now, you'll be bunked alone. You will have a roommate next time a girl that will go to this ward comes in." I explained while she sat quietly on the bed.

As I walked back down the hallway hoping the new girl has settled in at least somewhat to her new surroundings I remembered that every person who ends up on the streets has a story to go with it. For now though I wouldn't worry about that I knew that my"Either me or Ashley will be in to explain how things work around here in a few minutes." I finished before turning and leaving the room.
