"May all cats old enough to swim gather beneath the rock pile for a clam meeting!" Wavestar yowled. The clan gathered below. "We are here today to welcome two warriors to our clan. Stormpaw, Yellowpaw, step forwards" Both apprentices padded forwards. Stormpaw looked calm. Yellowpaw on the other hand, couldn't hold in his excitement. "Wavestar jumped of the rock pile and faced the two apprentices. "Stormpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?" Stormpaw nodded. "I do." Wavestar turned his gaze toward Yellowpaw. "Yellowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?" "I do." Yellowpaw purred. "Then I, Wavestar, leader of Waveclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have worked hard to understand the ways of your noble code." Wavestar yowled. " Stormpaw from this day forwards, you will be known as, Stormheart." The clan yowled the Stormheart's name, as she licked Wavestar's shoulder in respect. Wavestar lifted his tail for silence. "Yellowpaw, from this moment on you'll be known as Yellowtail." The clan yowled his name. "Meeting dismissed." The clan gathered around the new warriors, giving congratulations to them. "Can you believe it Stormheart!" Yellowtail purred. "We're finally warriors! The next gatherings in a few sunrises, just think our first gathering as warriors!" Yellowtail purred. Stormheart's whiskers twitched with amusement as she nodded. After a couple more heartbeats the clan went back to whatever they where doing before.
