I Want You (Peter Parker)

This one will be a little different. 3rd Person. This is an original. I take requests.

She hurt a little more everyday. Sitting next to him and loving him with all her heart but knowing he would never love her. It was exhausting
She had a journal. And he was an entry in every one.
God you should've seen him today.
He high fived me today, I got goosebumps at the contact of our hands.
I probably look like an idiot.
He developed a crush on Senior, Liz, I will never be as pretty as her.

Words of love and misfortune filled poor y/n's journal. But what she didn't know was that Peter was having the same problem.

At home Peter would talk to Karan- his suit lady.
He told Karan everything about y/n. Everything.
But y/n didn't see that part of Peter. She only saw him appearing to like Liz.
So what she did one day was a mistake that she wished she hadn't made.

There were 6 days before the Academic Decathlon team had to leave for yet another meet.
Peter was sitting in a chair next to y/n. He was distracted and on his phone.
When Liz announced Peter's question he didn't hear it all he heard was his name at the end.
He looked up at her in utter confuse-meant.

"Peter, the answer?" Liz said with dissatisfaction in her voice.

"1.005." Y/n replied. Annoyed at the most.

"Y/n that was Peter's question not yours." She seemed mad at y/n even though the person she should've been mad at was Peter.

"WELL ITS NOT MY FAULT THAT HES IN LOVE WITH YOU SO WHEN HE LOOKS AT YOU HE BLANKS. HE WAS PROBABLY DISTRACTED BY A PICTURE OF YOU ON HIS PHONE!" Y/n yelled at a louder tone than you should've.

Peter looked over at y/n. A veil of embarrassment and disappoint draped over his face.

"Can I talk to you- over there?" He said. Obviously disappointed.

"Yeah." Y/n replied. She was now the embarrassed one and as much as she wanted to feel sorry she just felt relieved.

Peter led her outside of the room.
As he waited for the door to close so he could begin his yelling he just peacefully tapped his foot.
The door closed with a slight click.
And then he took his stance, standing tall, arms crossed, and if looks could kill- y/n would be dead.

"What the hell was that for?" Peter scolded her.

"I don't know, I got a little out of hand. I'm sorry I thought you liked her."
Y/n replied cowering down.

"Well I don't like her." He said looking away.

"You sure make it look like you do." Y/n said a little more confidence in her voice. She was looking for answers.

"It's a long story." His tone definitely made it sound like he didn't want to tell that story.

"I've got time." That didn't stop y/n. She was going to hear that story if it was last thing she heard.

"So.... there's this other girl. She's beautiful, kind, funny, and the smartest girl in the school. But she'll never go for a lonely nerd like me. So I tried to make myself like a different girl. One who had enough pity on me to give me a shot. And that was Liz." He looked embarrassed. His voice sheepish.

"Oh, I'm sorry. It was a misunderstanding. And I hope everything goes well with that girl. I think you should go for it. She sounds wonderful." As much as that hurt y/n to say she did it. Peter's happiness was all that mattered.

Y/n turned around and began to open the door. But Peter pulled her back.

"Y/n, you're that girl I was talking about." He said with a slight smile.

"I am." She didn't believe it.

"I like you y/n. A lot." He rubbed his arm.

"I like you to Parker." Y/n was filled with her own happiness now.

"You do?" He didn't believe her.

"I do." She smiled and walked closer to him.

"Thank goodness." He added.

He placed his hands on her hips and pulled her as close as she could be. Then he gently placed his lips on hers. Bringing them into a kiss that would last a lifetime. That one kiss started it all.

"From now on- honesty- ok?" She asked.

"Yeah." He smiled and grabbed her hand.

"But on that note, I've got a secret." He gave a fake smile.

"It is?" She asked.

"I'm Spider-Man." He laughed.
