Hitomi

He removed the small girl from his legs.

"Listen kid, I never had a child." He said as the girl laid a frown.

"That's not true, you're papa." She handed him a photo that was taken long ago when him and Hinata were still together.

"How did you get this?" He said as he thought he would never see her face ever again.

"Mama gave it to me." She said as she reached out for it.

"Mama? You mean..Hinata?" He said as he shut the door and took a seat.

Now that he thought about it, she did look a lot like her. She had the same colored eyes as hers but hair as black as his.

"You, what's your name?" He said as she took the picture back.

"Hitomi Uchiha." She smiled as she took a seat next to him.

"Alright, Alright." He scooted away from her and ran to the phone.

She followed him but was stopped by his finger.

"You stay there." He said as she did what she was told.

It wasn't until 10 minutes later that there was a knock on his door.

He immediately ran to open it as Naruto was at the door, smiling.

"Hey Sasu-" Sasuke pulled him in quickly shutting the door behind him.

"Hey!" Naruto said as he immediately got the message that something was wrong.

"Okay, what's wrong?" He crossed his arms.

"That." Sasuke pointed into the living room where Hitomi was coloring in a sketchbook.

"Woah, why do you have a small girl here?" He said as he moved passed him and looked at the girl.

"Weird, she kinda looks like-"

"Hinata." Sasuke finished his sentence.

"Wait, explain everything." Naruto sat down as Sasuke began his story from the moment he got home to the moment she hugged his legs.

"This is, well, wow." Naruto had to also compose himself.

"She could be lying though." Sasuke said.

"Are you kidding me? That kid looks exactly you. You don't need a DNA test to see that." Naruto whispered.

"That's it." Sasuke suddenly got excited.

"What's "it"?" Naruto suddenly got scared by the look on his face.

"We have to take a DNA test." Sasuke said as Naruto face-palmed.

And I'm supposed to be the idiot.

"Hey, kid." Sasuke walked up to her as she looked up at him.

"Get your coat on, we're going to the doctor." He said as she looked confused.

"Why?" She said as Sasuke opened his mouth but then was covered with Naruto's hand.

"Your dad doesn't really feel good." He said.

He let go as Sasuke sighed, he placed on his coat as the three of them left the apartment.

As they reached the outside, Sasuke felt a small hand grab his his.

He looked down.

"Mama says I always have to hold her hand when crossing the street." She said as she looked both ways and then crossed.

"We need to get to the hospital, quick." Sasuke said.

As they hopped in his car, she buckled her seatbelt in and they drove off.

"We'll have your results soon, sir." The nurse told him as she took a hold of Hitmoi's hand to go take out her blood.

Naruto and Sasuke waited.

"What do you think happened to Hinata?" Naruto asked.

"I don't know and if this child really is mine, she's going to hear a piece of my mind. Why would she keep this from me? Where is she now?" He said as a nurse quickly came out.

"Sir, we need you." She said as he walked into the room to see her crying.

"What did you do to her?" Even he couldn't resist that sad face of hers.

"Daddy, why do they want my blood?" She started sobbing.

"It seems she is scared of the needles, pretty typical for a child." The doctor said.

"Alright, so what do you need me to do?" He said as he walked up to her.

"What Mama does." The girl said.

"What does Mama, do?" He asked.

"She holds my hand and sings to me." She said.

"Okay, there's no way I'm doing that." Sasuke said.

"Sir, if you want this test done then this is the only way. Otherwise, you're wasting our time." The doctor announced.

Sasuke looked annoyed but held her hand.

"A-B-C-"He began to sing.

"Not that one!" She said.

"Hush little baby, don't say a word.." She began to sing as Sasuke immediately knew what song it was.

"Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird." He sang along.

"Silly daddy, you're not mama." She laughed as the doctor mouthed to continue as the blood began dripping into the tube.

"And if that mockingbird won't sing, Papa's gonna buy you a diamond ring." He felt the grip on her hand grow tighter as they released the syringe from her arm.

"Thank you, and we'll be back with your results in just a moment." The nurses and doctors walked out of the room.

"So, kid." He sat down across from her.

"Hitomi." She said.

"Hitomi, how old are you?"

"6 years old."

"And where's your mother?"

The girl stood silent for a bit.

"She's at work." Hitomi smiled.

"Right, does she know you're here?"Sasuke crossed his arms.

"Yes." She immediately answered.

"Do you have her phone number?" He seemed desperate.

"Yes!" She reaches into her pocket and pulled out a beat up piece of paper.

He saw two phone numbers listed on it, an unknown phone number and his company's.

"Mama said if I ever get lost to have someone call those phone numbers." She smiled as Sasuke took out his phone.

"I'll be right back, don't go anywhere." Sasuke stood outside of the room as he dialed the number.

After 1 ring, someone had picked up.

"Hello."

"Hinata?" His heart beat fast as the sound of her voice.

"Sorry I can't come to the phone right now, please leave a message after the beat and I'll get back to you as soon as I can."

He immediately hung up but something inside of him made him want to call again just to hear her voice.

He walked back into the room where the nurses had gathered up and handed him the results.

"Congratulations, She is 100% your daughter." The nurse smiled.
