"Hinata has approximately one week to live."
The doctor went to where Hinata was running her fingers through Hitomi's hair.
She looked at the doctor who looked at her with a sad face.
Sasuke stood there watching the expression change on her face but then smile again.
"Well, I'll have to finish paperwork. Hinata, you'll be able to leave today." The doctor left.
"Thank you." She said as Sasuke walked towards her bed.
"Hitomi has a cute sleeping face, right?" She said.
"Hinata." He said.
"I'm sure going to miss it."
"Sasuke-kun, I just want you to promise me one thing." She said.
"What?"
"Please take care of Hitomi. Make sure she eats all her vegetables, that she has friends, that you're there for her when she cries. She really likes tomatoes too, I guess she gets that from you. What else? Geez, there's so many things about this girl that reminds me of you and now I can't think of any single one of the-"
"There's no way, I'm letting you die." He said.
"You are still my wife, after all."
"Sasuke-kun." Her eyes teared up as Hitomi had woken up.
"Well, should we get going then?" Sasuke said.
"But, am I going with mama or papa? Please don't fight." She looked down.
"Hitomi." They both said.
"I don't like fighting." She said.
"Hitomi, you and Mama are staying in my place tonight." Sasuke said as she looked at Hinata and smiled.
She started crying.
"Hitomi?" They both questioned.
"Wishes do come true." She said as they looked confused.
"Let's go home together." Hinata said as they packed their stuff and left.
They arrived at the apartment as Hitomi's stomach growled.
"I'm hungry." She said as Sasuke and Hinata looked at each other then laughed.
He handed Hinata an apron as he tied one on himself. Although she hadn't step foot in his apartment since the day they departed, she had remembered where everything was very quickly.
Hitomi watched them as they joked around and laughed together.
"Dinner is ready!" Hinata said as Hitomi washed her hands and went to the table.
The rest of the night was spent of Hinata and Hitomi making Sasuke catch up on what was going on in their lives & vice versa.
"Then Daiske-san, told me he wants to marry me!" Hitomi said as Sasuke's expression changed into a mean one.
"And what did you say?" He said serious-like.
"No way!" She stoke her tongue out.
"That's my girl." Sasuke laughed all scary like.
"We should get to bed." Hinata picked up the dishes as Sasuke agreed.
"I'll get in my pj's!" She ran into Sasuke's room.
It wasn't until 5 minutes later when Sasuke and Hinata walked in on her already sleep.
"Do you have a futon or something?" Hinata asked.
"No, you're sleeping with me." He said as she blushed.
"O-Okay." She went to the bathroom to change herself as she slid into one end of the bed.
Sasuke, on the other end slid into bed also as Hitomi laid in between them.
"Hinata." He said.
"Yes?" She replied.
"I'm going to pay for your transplant." He said.
"No! I mean thats a lot of money and I almost got it covered and-"
"I love you."
"Eh?!" She sat up.
"I still love you. I thought about you everyday from the moment you left. I'm not just saying this because I want Hitomi to be happy, I'm saying this because it's true. I love you, Hinata. Please, give me another chance. I swear I'll make you and Hitomi the happiest girls in the world. Please, forgive this idiot." He walked around to her side and dropped to his knees and bowed.
"I love you too." Tears escaped her eyes as she tackled him to the floor.
He kissed her again as things were finally starting to look up.
I'm definitely not letting you die!
