Sarah walked into Cameron Indoor at 6:30 to get ready for the game at 7:00. She was attending the game with her teammates Lexie Brown, and Haley Gorecki.

I sure hope Grayson gets a chance to play tonight, Sarah thought to herself. She knew how hard he had been working, and how important it was to him. She still was feeling some type of way about the kiss. She wanted to talk to him about it, but she was scared to bring it up. Maybe she was afraid of rejection?

"Earth to Sarah!" Lexie started waving her hand in her face, to hopefully get Sarah's attention.

Sarah shook her head and closed her eyes. "Uh, sorry what?"

Lexie smirked. "Ogling over Grayson?"

Sarah glanced at Grayson, on the floor warming up. She rolled her eyes.

"And why would I be doing that?" Sarah asked, looking at Lexie with a glare.

"Oh come on! You can't honestly say that you have never crushed on Grayson."

"I can honestly say that I never have. We're just friends." Sarah replied to Lexie, with her arms crossed.

Could she just drop it? Sarah thought to herself.

"Oh! So you wouldn't mind if I talked to him?" Haley chimed in.

"Psh, talk? I'm sure whatever you're planning doesn't involve talking." Lexie replied, rolling her eyes in the process.

Haley shrugged. "I can't help it, he's a fine piece of ass."

Sarah could feel her nails digging into her skin. "Knock yourself out." She replied, turning her head to roll her eyes.

The boys started and finished the game strong. Duke won by a long shot. 115-58, Grayson was put in the game for about five minutes but he didn't get any open looks. He did however finish with one assist to Justise, who finished with nineteen points. Sarah knew that, that wouldn't satisfy Grayson though. He would probably beat himself up about not scoring any points. But Sarah knew that he would get his chance, it was just the first game of the season after all.

Sarah waited outside of the locker room, waiting for Grayson to come out. She ditched Haley, and Lexie in the crowd of people. To be honest she was kind of tired of hearing their crap. If she heard one more comment about Grayson's arms, or Grayson's butt she was going to pull her hair out. The comments really got under her skin, to the point of her wanting to punch them in the face. She wished she could ditch them for the rest of the night but she had already promised to go to dinner with them afterwards.

Suddenly the door came barreling open, and out came Quinn. When he seen Sarah a smile came over his face.

"What's up, Carter?" Quinn asked, referring to her last name.

Sarah smiled. "Nothing much. You had a good game!"

"I know this!" Quinn replied with a laugh. "I'll catch you later, I know I'm not the one you're waiting for." A smirk appeared on his face.

Sarah rolled her eyes. What is with people tonight? She thought to herself. Mine and Grayson's relationship is none of there business. The door opened again but this time out came, a 6'4 dark haired boy who's face turned into a bright smile when he saw Sarah waiting for him. Sarah was shocked to see him happy, she figured he would be upset that he didn't get a chance to score. She wasn't complaining though. Grayson made it too her and pulled her into his chest, squeezing tight. Sarah felt her face breakout into a smile.
He leaned down and whispered in her ear.

"Let's get out of here." His breath tickling her neck making goosebumps appear.

Sarah looked up at him. "Where did you have in mind?"

Grayson shrugged, his voice turning husky. "My room?"

Before Sarah could answer, she caught a glimpse of Haley and Lexie coming their way. Before they had a chance to see her in Grayson's arms, she pushed him away. Grayson looked at her with his brows scrunched together.

"What was that for?" He asked.

Sarah didn't get a chance to answer.

"There you are!" Haley exclaimed. Lexie coming up behind her.

Sarah nodded.

"Good game Grayson!" Haley said eyes roaming his body.

Grayson just wore a blank expression. "Thanks, but I didn't really do anything." Annoyance clear in his voice. Sarah held back a laugh.

Haley looked taken back.

"So, you ready to go eat?" Lexie asked, changing the subject.

"Well I was, uh-um... yeah I guess, I am kind of hungry." Sarah looked up at Grayson and mouthed "sorry." He nodded to let her know he understood.

"You want to come Grayson?" Lexie asked. Sarah noticed the way Haley perked up at that. Apparently Grayson did too.

"Nah, I was just about to head home and hit the sack."

Lexie nodded. "Alright, see you around."

"Yeah, see you." Grayson replied.

"Well, I'm sure I'll be seeing you. Talk to you later Grayson!" Haley chirped out.

"Not if I can help it." Grayson mumbled under his breath. Luckily it wasn't loud enough for her to hear. But Sarah heard it and she bit her lip hard to keep from laughing.

"Meet you in the car, Sarah." Lexie called out, as she and Haley made their way out.

"So much for my plans." Grayson huffed out.

Sarah looked him in the eyes. "And what exactly were your plans?" She queried.

Grayson looked at her, eyes darkening. "Well, I was thinking a little something like this afternoon." Grayson replied. Thinking back to the kiss in this very gym. "Interested?" He questioned.

Sarah replied cooly. "Maybe." And with that she started walking out of the gym.

"You're not gonna tell me good game?" Grayson asked innocently?

Sarah couldn't help but laugh. "Like you said, you didn't do anything."
Grayson knew she got jealous when Haley started to flirt with him. He couldn't help but tease her about it.

"Don't worry, I'm not interested." Grayson yelled out to her.

"Don't worry, I wasn't worried." Sarah replied, turning around to smirk.

Grayson couldn't help but break out into an amused smile.

The girls decided on a Mexican restaurant and stuffed their faces with tacos. Haley finally let up on the Grayson talk, thank God. They headed back to campus in Lexie's black Explorer. Sarah and Lexie are roommates, and Haley lives in the same building. They parted from Haley after entering the building and went up to their room.

"Man, could Haley be anymore desperate?" Lexie asked.

Sarah let out a breath. "Gosh, I wanted to shove a freaking taco down her throat."

Lexie let out a laugh. "Man, I would've loved to have seen that." Sarah laughed back.

"Okay, in other news, we have one more practice until our game on Saturday." Lexie said excitedly.

"I'm ready." Sarah replied.

"You gonna get some threes?" Lexie asked.

"I stay getting threes!" Sarah replied with a grin.

"Okay, okay! Not just three pointers either. Boys who wear the #3 jersey" a cackle coming out of Lexie's mouth.

Sarah rolled her eyes for what felt like the millionth time tonight.

"Oh my god. Goodnight."

Lexie laughed again. "Goodnight."
