Narrators P.O.V.
With just a quick glance you would think that Maya's life was perfect, first thing you notice is her 5'10" flawless figure with the most amazing smile you would ever see. What you don't know is behind that gorgeous smile is pain, suffering, and betrayal. Maya has 3 "friends", Sara who is your classic teenager, long luscious blonde hair, head cheerleader, and dating the quarterback. Then there is Sam, who has one big secret that only Maya knows, he's gay, but there's one problem, Sam is Sara's boyfriend, AKA quarterback on the football team. Last but not least there is Natalie, she is the exact opposite of Sara, the loner, and the book nerd, who nobody except Maya understands.
Maya's P.O.V.
I'm going to go to school today, put on my best smile for the crowd and pretend that everything is okay. I walk into school and as usual hide by my locker and pray to god that nobody says a single word to me, but just like every other day, I'm confronted by a crowd of guys asking either for my number or using cheesy pick- up lines to try to get into my pants. There is really only one guy that I look for in this sea of men, or should I say very horny boys. His name is Jeremy, every day when I hide behind my locker hoping "nobody" says a word to me that means that the only person that I would want to talk to me is Jeremy. The only person who I told who I like is Sara, the moment I told her, I knew I had screwed up. It may not seem like a big deal, but it is to me.
It's been a few days since Sara found out about me liking Jeremy, and like everyday, I go to my locker but something is different, people start coming up to me and saying things like I can't believe you were stupid enough to put a note in his locker. Tears burst out of my eyes to the point where I feel like I'm swimming in an ocean of confusion. I say what are you talking about and they explain that Jeremy found a note in his locker and it said it was from you, and he went around telling the whole school that you were a loser and didn't deserve someone like him and that you are a no good slut whose dad left because he couldn't handle the fact that his daughter was a whore.
I immediately know who to blame, I burst into another teachers classroom and say that Mrs. Hendrix needs to speak to Sara, she comes out of class and I feel this intense tingling sensation throughout my body and before I know it my sense of control goes silent and my hands clinch into fists, my hands close so tight I leave crescent imprints in my sweaty palm, and without any warning, my fist collides with her face... and I pass out onto the
cold grimy tiles of the floor, everything is numb.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
