Him

~Time jump to  Junior Year at end of day~
So there is this really cute boy that keeps staring at me and we have 5 classes together😁 He keeps smiling at me and I smile back because he's hot. I walk over to my locker which is in the middle of the 8th grade hall, and he comes up to me and says "Hey! Your really cute, wanna hang out this weekend?" "Sure!" I reply. I give him my number so we can work out the details and he walks away. Delaney walks over to me and asks "Who was that?" I say "A boy." "What did you do on that piece of paper?" "My number". Why do you care" She rolls her eyes and smiles, saying "One day, you're gonna give your phone number to a random stranger and you're gonna regret it." I love her.
~skip walk home~
I walk into the house and go straight to my room. My parents work late so they won't be home until like 7. I check my phone and see a text from a random number:
(904)-###-####:Hey, it's Zach. When can I come over?
Me:Whenever, I'm home now my address is 1234 Butterfly Lane(actual place😂)
Zach:Okay, heading over now
OMG I have to clean, like, everything
~~~~~~~10 minutes later~~~~~~~
I finish cleaning and not even a minute later I hear a knock at the door. I literally ran to the door and calmly opened it too meet eyes with beautiful green eyes. We stood there for a moment until he said
"Can I come in?" Stupid! Why are you making him stand in this heat?! "Of course! Sorry." I move out of the way and he walks in looking shookith. I move past him and start walking to my room." Are you coming or not?" I say to him and he just chuckles and follows me in. We sit on the bed and just sit awkwardly until I say "Wanna watch Netflix?" "Sure!" He says jumping up and down making me laugh. I turn on Netflix and put on a scary movie (you should know why)
A jump scare came and I pretended to jump even though I'm completely immune to jump scares in this movie. Anyway, I jump in his arms and he cuddles me, I readjust myself and get comfortable. I immediately feel safe in his arms and start to doze off. The last thing I hear is him say "Goodnight, beautiful". I melted and fell asleep smiling.
Zach's POV
I lay on Em's bed and start watching the movie. I don't know how she knew, but I love this movie so much! Before long she jumps into my arms because of a jump scare. It was adorable. I cuddle her to "protect" her. She gets comfortable and I notice she's dozing off. I quietly whisper "goodnight beautiful" and she falls asleep smiling. She's so gorgeous😍No Zach. Stop thinking that about her like that. She probably only thinks of me as a friend. I lay down and lay her down too. I cuddle her and immediately feel at home. How did I get so lucky to have someone so amazing as her?
