My life as Em

Not So Great Start

Zach's POV
It's around 12pm and Em went to the mall and insisted I stayed at home, I think she's getting me a present for my birthday but idrk. I'm watching tv when I look out the window to see a beautiful girl walking her adorable little dog. I literally ran out the door so I could pet the dog and talk to her. We talked for a few minutes and she asked if she could put her number in my phone. I said okay not thinking much of it and she put it as 'Loren😍🐳' I laughed when I saw the name. We said our goodbyes and I went back inside.
A few minutes later Em comes home and she makes me go to the backyard so she can get everything in. I do as told and text Loren.
Soon enough Em told me I could come back inside. So I did.
Em's POV
I went out to get Zach a surprise for his birthday coming up in a few days, being the amazing girlfriend I am. I get home and kick him out to the backyard and hide all the stuff in my parents room since we never go in there. After hiding everything I allow him to come back in. We start cuddling while watching tv. After a bit I feel a hand on my leg and I tense up. We've never really done anything other then kiss, and even those were fast. I look over at him and see him smiling. I leave it at that seeing as it's not that bad until he starts to go higher up my thigh. "Zach, I feel uncomfortable" "Why is that babe?" I look down at his hand and he sighs moving his hand back to his lap I sit up and ask "do you have a problem?" Yes I was getting snappy but I don't see why he's reacting like this. "I mean we never do anything other then be lazy together or go to the mall, I wanted to have some fun" he says looking down. At this point I'm actually getting mad. "What do you mean? I ask you all the time if you want to do anything and you always are the one wanting to be lazy!" I say semi-yelling
"Well because I always want  to let you choose but you insist I choose!" He yells at me. I stand there in shock. "Maybe we should take a break" I whisper holding back my tears. "Maybe we should" he said looking down shaking his head and walks out.
What just happened? I love him and we just started dating like a month ago. Did I make a mistake? Will we get back together or is this for the best? Question after question flooded into my head. Why?
