My life as Em

What are we?

So me and Zach have been talking a lot lately and it's been one month since we met. He makes me really happy and I don't know what I'd do if I lost him. I get ready for school since it's Monday, ew. Then I walk over to Zach's house so his mom can drive us. I knock on the door and soon after, Apryll,Zach's mom, opens the door.
"Hi honey! Come on in we will be leaving shortly." I walk in and sit on the couch to wait for Zach. I'm scrolling through insta and all of a sudden, Zach comes up behind me and scares the crap out of me. "ZACHARY!!!!" I scream at him. "Yes?" He says smiling that adorable smile he does. "I'm mad at you" I say crossing my arms like a five year old and slightly smile. He comes and sits by me and tells me to sit on the ground. I already know what he's gonna do, since he does it every day. I sit on the ground and he sits on the couch and starts playing with my hair. I turn on the tv and put on 'Orange Is The New Black' since we both love that show. He quickly finishes my hair and pats next to him signaling for me to sit by him. I stay on the ground showing I'm still mad and smirk. I turn back towards the tv and immediately regret it. He picks me up and sets me on the couch and starts tickling me. "S-stop...ZACH!" I say slightly louder then I meant to be and he immediately stops knowing that I will kick him if he doesn't, which I've had to do before. At this point he is on top of me and we are both out of breath. Our eyes meet and we both just sit there for a minute. "Your eyes are beautiful" he whispers. " Not so bad yourself" which is a complete and utter understatement for his mesmerizing eyes. He starts to lean in and I just lay there numb thinking about the fact that I'm about to be kissed by him. He hovers his lips above mine teasing me, until finally I smash our lips together. Our lips move in perfect sync and I pull away after I few moments and bite my lip. "Wow..." is all he says. I just look at him and once again our eyes meet. "You guys ready?" Apryll asks coming into the room, completely missing everything that just happens. "Yea, one sec. Em, can you help me get my stuff together real quick upstairs?" He asks me winking. "Sure." I reply with no emotion trying to hide all my butterfly's and emotions wanting to spill out. I follow him to his room and he closes the door. We both sit on the bed awkwardly, until he speaks up. "I'm sorry" he whispers. I look over to see tears trying to fall from his face. I pull him close and ask "why are you sorry?!" "Because I kissed you and we are best friends and I don't want to lose what we have and-" I cut him off lifting his head and kissing him right on the lips. He seemed shocked for a second then started to kiss back. He pulls away this time. "Em?"
