My life as Em

Jerica

Today is going to be a good day.... today is going to be a good day...today has to be a good day.
I sit on the floor in front of my mirror whispering these words to myself until my mom calls for me from downstairs signaling it's time to go. I get up and go downstairs leaving the house with the keys in my hands, "Bye mom! Thanks for the reminder!" "No problem sweetly, love you!" " love you too!" I yell back as I close the front door walking to my car.
~skip car ride~
I arrive at the one place I always seem to end up when I hang out with people..... Starbucks! I walk inside and the first person I meet eyes with is the one, the only, Jerrica Bean(yes her last name is Bean). I walk over sliding into the booth her and her brother(Nick) are already in. "Hey guys! What's the game plan for today?" I say leaning into the table like it was top secret information, earning a chuckle from both of them. "We were gonna go to the mall, then go back to my place after and watch a movie or something afterwards....if that's o-okay with y-you of course." Nick said rubbing the back of his neck with his head down. I immediately feel my cheeks turning pink and move my hands to cover them, without looking suspicious. Jerica is lost. She looks like we just had a full conversation in a foreign language, buuutttttt she soon caught on to what was happening. "Well we should get going!" She said breaking the awkward silence. I look at her with a 'thank you' face and she winks at me in return followed by a smile.
Narrator
The day was spent with each other. They laughed, talked, shopped, laughed some more, then (of course) shopped some more. After the time at the mall was spent, they all piled into each other's cars and headed to Nick's house. This is where we continue....
Em's POV
After we get to Nick's house, I get the food, Jerica picks out the movie, and Nick carries all the bags from shopping in. Separating them by whose they were so it would be easier later. The night continued with more laughs and tons of food. After the movie was over, I had to go home so Nick walked me out since Jerica was already asleep. I left the bags from today there, I'm just gonna pick them up tomorrow. Once we got to the front door he grabbed my wrist, not in a hard way, but in a way to tell me he wanted to say something. I turned around to meet his eyes but instead was bombarded with his lips crashing into mine. I smiled through the kiss then kissed back for a minute. I pulled away and smiled again. "I had a really good time tonight." "Ditto". He laughed. "Em" "Yes?" We locked eyes and I could see the seriousness. "I love you." I look into his eyes and say completely meaning it, "I love you too Nick"

Yayyyyy, Jerica is in the book finally. Just 7ish more to go! Lol. Word count:513
