I pushed ever so hard to open the door. It wasn't moving anytime soon and I knew it. But a wave of the determination flew over me. It felt like someone was pushing with me as the door flung open. I stared at the clumps of snow around the door I had just shoved open. I was in entranced by the falling snow. It twirled around me and clumped on the ground. I watch my breath float through the air and go up to the sky.
"Heat rises..." I mumbled to myself. Facts were cool, and heat rising was the coolest. As I came back to reality I knew that the snow meant cold. So I closed the door and decided to go find some other monsters about to intrude on. I chuckled at my rudeness and walked down this strange path in the snow. I kept walking down the path until I came to a bridge. I heard someone coming from in front of me. I looked around frantically for something to hide behind. Then I spotted a lamp. I didn't care why or how it was there I just ran behind it. I peered around the lamp. You saw a skeletal figure standing across the from you. He seemed to be saying or calling out something. I listened.
"G! g-GG! Brother where are you!"
The name was odd. It was probably a nick-name. I had a few of those. The monster seemed to mumble something to himself then walk away. I crawled out from behind lamp. I saw the footprints the monster left. I decide to follow. They seem to lead somewhere considering this place was covered in snow. I slowly stepped in each of the figures steps. They were deep in the snow which left a nice path for me to walk on. As I walked the figure came into view again.
"Damn it." I cursed under my breath
The monster was once again calling the name G. I started to move out of the monster's tracks when there was a voice behind me. Not only that but footsteps.
"Hiya, paps. you called?... oh, hello human~" Their voice stated calmly but then turned darker. It sent shivers up my spine.
"A HUMAN!!!??" the monster in front of me turned quickly to see me and another monster behind them.
"G!!!! YOU FOUND A HUMAN!!!" they squealed. I looked up at this G figure to find them looming over me. I swallowed as I got a good look at their face and upper body.
Definitely another skeleton. He had whiteish pupils in his black eye sockets and a crack above his right eye. He had another crack below his left eye that leads to his crappy grin. At the bottom of his face were tuffs of fur from what I assumed belonged to a jacket with fluff at the rim. I quickly looked down after realizing I was staring. I heard him chuckle again as the other skeleton walked toward you.
"HUMAN! I THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL NOW CAPTURE YOU! PUT YOU THROUGH VERY CHALLENGING PUZZLES AND TRAPS!! SO BE PREPARED!!!" he sounded like he had prepared this speech his whole life.
"NYE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE! He." He ran away laughing to himself. 'huh,' I whispered to myself. I had no idea what I was doing and what was going to happen. The skeleton behind, named probably G, bent down behind you and gave you his hand.
"Come on, it would be rude not to shake someone's hand," he said.
His voice was low and sounded only about a few years older than you. You turned around and shook his hand. You expected it to be bitter cold, but it was acutely a good temperature.
"Wow... your hand is... well warm!" I responded in awe. He chuckled again, and I realized my mouth spoke before I could think. I was flustered by his reaction and my mistake.
"Yours too dove." My face flared red at the pet name. Pet names like that win me over fast. He was already on my good side. I giggled behind my red mask and thanked him. I whipped around to add an effect to my hair, so it appeared like I was flirting. I could tell I got him to blush without looking.
