Following a near death experience, our heroes now wait for Tommy and Cody to show up.
"This is unreal, according to these readings, you appear to control the element of ice." Jeremy had performed a scan on Casey. "It makes me wonder if our parents had this power." "Jarvis, bring up a database on everything about captain America and black widow." A screen lit up. After a few minutes, Jeremy and Casey gasped. "It says here that mom controlled the element of ice." "And dad the element of fire." "Meaning I control the element of ice, and you control the element of fire." "Mace was way off, it's not the bond between us that activates this power, it's the bond between us and our elements!" "Sir, Tommy and Cody are back." "Ok." "After we take care of them, we can contact mace with our findings." "Agreed." They proceeded to the hanger. "Welcome back, now you will be tested on your abilities." They performed all the same tests Casey took when she was joining the avengers. At the end of it, their scores were just below Casey's. "That says it." "Tommy and Cody, you are officially iron avengers. Cody, you'll be known as iron quicksilver, the fastest alive. Tommy, you'll be known as iron wizard, who is strong in every way." "We'll make you proud." "Good."
"You've discovered your true power?" The hologram of mace said. "Well, Casey did, and we believe that it isn't the bond between us, but rather the bond between us and our elements that activate these powers." "Well thank you for correcting us." "Your welcome." "But you also said that your brothers have just arrived?" "Yeah, they just became iron avengers." "Well the more help the better." "They are really something alright." "Let's get back on topic, so what are the elements that you control?" "Jeremy can control fire, and I can control ice." "And can your brothers control any elements?" "We don't know." "Then find out, because I think that the elements will help you a lot." "Agreed." The hologram faded. "Jarvis, set up the scanner to scan for elemental powers, and get Tommy and Cody in there." "Roger." A few minutes later, they scanned and found that Tommy and Cody had not received any elemental power. "Well, at least we know for future reference." "Sir, there's a man waiting for you outside." "Be right there. Be right back."
"I'm RRR special agent Rush Clovis, are your 6 friends and 3 siblings here?" "Yes. Why do you ask?" "Because they are under arrest for theft of museum property." "WHAT? What was stolen?" "The oldest lightsaber hilt." "Whoa, but I assure you that my team didn't steal it, when did it occur anyway?" "It occurred last night." "Jarvis, did anything leave the palace last night?" "No sir, would you like a video representation?" "Please, because we have to clear up this misunderstanding." The feed lit up. "Unless you have photo descriptions of each of the crooks, you have no necessary business being here." "Here you go." He gave Jeremy a datapad. "The crooks responsible." "These must either be framed or clones." "Regardless, we're searching this property, and taking the culprits in." They barged in and started searching. "What's going on Jeremy, why are these guys taking us to prison?" "They think you guys stole from a museum." "What that's absurd." "Don't worry, I'll work endlessly to clear your names." Casey broke free of an officers grip and ran over to hug Jeremy. "Promise?" "You will be home or my name isn't Jeremy Bypasser." "Good luck." They slapped handcuffs on her and dragged her away. "Take care of Tommy and Cody!" "I will."
Our heroes are now suspected criminals! Will Jeremy be able to clear their names? Stay tuned.
