"Omg! You're mom is hilarious." Lily said as we entered the living room.  I groaned.

"Please don't say that in front of her. You'll just raise up her ego, and she'll be cracking her lame jokes nonstop." I gave her a horrified look. She cackled and shook her head.

"And your mom is a great cook." I countered with a cheesy smile. It was her turn to give me a horrified look. I smirked.

"No comment." She replied. We both burst into fits of giggles.

"What are you girls laughing about?" My mom asked, Karen and her entering the living room.

"Nothing!" We both replied quickly in unison. We both tried to hold back our laughter as our mom's gave us a weird suspicious look.

"Okay, if you both say so. Oh! Sofia, honey, I forgot to tell you I'm going to be out of town for a few days, at most four. I have to meet with my Publisher." She informed me. I could see the sadness in her eyes.

"It's fine mom. You go and do what you have to do. I'll be fine." She gave me an ambivalent look.

"Are you sure you'll be fine on your own."

"I'm positive. Besides, I won't be alone I have Karen, Lily, Josh and the crew."

"Yup, so don't worry Bel. As your manager and longtime friend, I can guarantee you that your daughter is safe with me." Karen said giving me a side hug and looking at my mom. Lily stood on the other side of me as well, giving her a reassuring smile.

"Alright." My mom sighed, a little bit more relief.

"I guess I better start packing, my flight leaves early in the morning."

I woke up early again. Ugh damn those nightmares! I sat up and rubbed my eyes tiredly. So much for a goodnight sleep. Not! I yawned and got out of bed. I put on some light blue jean shorts, a white Blink-182 t-shirt, and my hot pink Vans. Eh, it's a Friday. I then decided to put my hair up in a pony tail. I looked at the time, 6:35. I guess I'll be walking to school again. I grabbed my stuff and headed out the door.

While walking to school through the woods, I decided to check my phone.  I had five text messages from my mom. I smiled. I quickly texted her back, a good morning, and put my phone away. I was walking in silent, until I heard a twig snap. I whipped my head around and saw a large black wolf. I stumbled backwards and ended up falling on my butt. Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark.

I sat there staring at it. It was really big and looked almost like a bear. After a good few seconds, it growled, revealing it's really large sharp teeth. I gulped. I slowly stood up and faced it. It stood its ground and growled more aggressively. Double gulp. I took one step back, not breaking contact with it. It barked, and I jolted. It came closer and closer. Before he could get any closer to me I took off. I ran and ran, but it was faster. I turned around and saw that it was really close, causing me to run faster. Unfortunately, a treestump decided that I should die today, causing me to fall. I quickly got up and leaned onto the tree for support. Just when the wolf was about to pounce on me, two other wolves showed up. A brown russet color wolf pushed the black one down and the black one snapped fighting back. The other sandy brown one barked at me, as if ordering me to leave, whilst trying to stop the other wolves. I just stood there watching in horror.

"No stop! Please don't hurt him!" I pleaded, defending the black one, even if it tried to pratically kill me. I was not about to witness what was just about to go down, not under my watch. I especially didn't want the other two to get hurt, considering they were defending me at this very moment. However, they continued to bite and wrestle each other; the fight only getting more and more aggressive by the second. There had to be something I could do, but what? By now all my rationality had flown out the window and I found myself in panic mode.
