***Harry's POV***

The phone on the side rang, loud as ever. I rolled over sleepily and saw Jenna shift in her sleep, on the brink of waking up, then settle down again. I sighed and rolled out of bed, answering the phone groggily, events of the past 24 hours not at the for front of my mind. 'Hello?' I croaked before clearing my throat. 'Harry,' Jenna's Mum's impatient voice snapped. 'Yeah?' 'Where the hell is my daughter?' 'In bed asleep,' I replied, sitting on the edge of the bed. 'Why did she not come here after she was discharged from hospital?' Oh shit, now I remember. Fuuckkiiingg heeelll. It hit me like a train and I was paralyzed. 'Harry?' 'It was about 2 in the morning, we didn't want to wake you all. Plus Jenna doesn't really want to come home,' I snapped. 'It's not about what she wants, she's only sixteen,' Jenna's mum argued back. 'Look. I'll tell her you rang and ask her to ring you when she wakes up,' I answered, voice calm but tense. 'Then it's her decision, not mine or yours.' Jenna's mum replied with a curt, 'Fine' then the line went dead. I groaned and lay back on the bed, letting the phone slip through my fingers to the floor.

Damn, I really need to stop promising this girl things. Need food. Need to stay here. Why could that mini fridge not last another week? 'Harry?' Her voice carried softly across the room. 'It's okay, I'm here,' I smiled comfortingly as I crossed the room from my laptop to her. 'You stayed,' she beamed up at me. The hunger pangs in my stomach subsided as I absorbed the sunshine in that smile. 'I promised didn't I?' I smiled and kissed her forehead. 'What time is it?' Jenna asked. 'Erm, about one,' I checked my watch. 'I have slept so long!' Jenna looked shocked. Don't know why, she could sleep for England. 'Not really, we went to sleep around 3 I think,' I kissed her forehead. 'You're hungry,' Jenna obsevered. 'How do you even know that?' I laughed. 'You have your I'm hungry but I'm not gonna show it because you're more important face on.' I laughed hysterically, as she slid out of bed, got changed and did her hair.

'Come on,' Jenna pulled me off the bed. 'Okay,' I let myself be dragged up. 'Wait where are we going?' I stopped short as she reached the top of the stairs. 'Out, look, I know what happened, but I'm not going to let him win. If I stay here at home or at my parents house or wherever, I'm letting him defeat me and make me terrified. Yeah, I'll probably break someone's face if they come too close but I'm not letting him stop me,' Jenna declared. 'You think this is your home?' I asked, grinning like a maniac. 'Is that seriously all you took from that?' Jenna sighed exasperated. 'No,' I replied. 'Where are we going?' 'The lake.' 'No,' I said sharply. 'Why not?' 'You were fucking raped there last night, the place is crawling with police looking for evidence, reporters, isn't there anywhere else?' I said desperately. Jenna stared at me in shock then burst into tears. I pulled her into me against me and held her there as she cried. 'I just thought I could help myself get over it,' she sobbed. 'Baby, it only happened yesterday, give it time. I promise, when the trial and things are over, we'll go back. We can take the others and just have fun,' I kissed the top of her head. 'There's gonna be a trial?' Jenna pulled away from me. 'Yeah,' I nodded slowly. 'But don't worry about it. I'm going to find you the best lawyers in the world, and we'll get through it together.' 'I can't do a trial, I can't relive it,' she sat down on the top step, hyperventialating.

Sorry it's only very short, had a lot on today and this is as much as I can write before I have to go out again. xx
