Okay, I know you will probably hate me for doing this, but I'm skipping three weeks. I know, it might seem stupid, but its not. And I'm not ignroing the whole walk out on management thing either, I'm gonna address it, just in a slightly less head on way. Plus, I really want to move the story on. :) x
(3 weeks later)
*** Harry's POV ***
'Still no better?' Louis asked, as we sat on my bed, waiting for Ariana and Jenna to come back. 'She talks more now. She tries to ignore it, but it feels like she's reset. You know when you reset something on your phone because its not working, but there's still the old problem? Listen to me, comparing my girlfriend to a phone. Still doesn't let me leave her much though,' I sighed. 'Well, at least she's progressing. I understand,' Louis smiled hopefully. 'Have you thought anymore about therapy?' 'Got an appointment tomorrow afternoon,' I smiled proudly. 'Well done. Does she know?' Louis asked cautiously. 'No,' I answered. 'If she knew I'd not get her to talk to me would I?' 'Good point,' Louis nodded as there was a knock on my door. 'Come in,' I called. 'Harry,' my mum came in slowly. 'Hi Louis.' 'Hey Anne,' Louis replied.
'Harry, I know something happened with Jenna, and I've tried to keep out of it, but I need to know why your once hyper girlfriend now barely speaks or leaves this room. And why you've not been to school for a month,' my mum frowned, approaching Louis and I. I glanced at Louis, he nodded. 'She was raped. By her ex boyfriend,' I said slowly, voice shaking. Louis reached over and took my hand. 'The night we went camping. That's why she was in hospital,' I went on, voice steadying. 'She was acting fine, but she broke down three weeks ago. I don't know what to do any more.' 'Oh gosh,' my mum gasped, hands flying to her mouth. 'I'm taking her to therapy tomorrow, so hopefully that will help. She just won't be alone with anyone but us,' I explained, gesturing to Louis to signify our friends. 'I don't want to go in with her, I don't want her to freak.'
'I can take the day off school,' Rebecca offered from the doorway. 'I've not got any coursework or anything to do. Gemma let us in.' 'Right, I'll talk to you later,' my mum warned me, getting up to leave. 'Bye Anne,' we all chorused as she left. 'What time's the appointment?' Dougie asked me as he and Rebecca moved further into the room. 'Half two,' I answered. 'I'll pick you up from school around two?' 'Sure,' Rebecca nodded. 'Aren't they supposed to be one on one though?' Louis asked. 'Jenna doesn't do one on one without someone she knows and trusts there,' I sighed. 'Bring your headphones though,' I added, looking at Becca.
'So, how is everything? Still moving to our label?' Dougie asked, once Jenna and Ariana had returned. 'Think so,' Louis nodded. 'They're still trying to make out you split,' Jenna sighed from my lap, laptop on her knees. 'I keep getting tweets about it. That and other stuff.' I looked over her shoulder as she scrolled through her mentions. 'Stop reading them,' I sighed as I read some of the tweets. 'And don't reply.' Jenna sighed and shut the laptop. 'Well, we're gonna go. See you tomorrow,' Louis pulled Ariana up. 'Byee,' Jenna waved. 'Yeah, we'll head off too. Bye Jenna,' Rebecca hugged her friend then allowed Dougie to lead her from the room.
'How you feeling princess?' I asked as Jenna slid off my lap and sat facing me. 'Good. We went on a really long walk today. We went to the park and there were lots of people,' Jenna grinned. 'And you were okay with that?' I asked, smiling back. 'They were all children. It was really sunny though. I'm going to take my sunglasses tomorrow. Ariana said we can go back and she'll buy me an ice cream,' Jenna buzzed. 'That's awesome. You think we could try school next week?' I smiled cautiously. 'Maybe, if I feel good. And he's gone,' Jenna nodded, a shadow passing across her face. 'He is gone. He's been expelled, and he can't come near you,' I reassured her. 'Now, are you gonna go to sleep now?' 'Can I have a shower?' Jenna asked. 'Course you can,' I laughed softly, pulling her from the bed. 'Sit outside the door and wait?' She asked as we reached the bathroom. 'Not going anywhere,' I smiled, kissing her forehead and sitting outside the bathroom. Jenna grinned and shut the door. A few minutes later I heard the shower turn on.
'Hey,' Gemma sat next to me. 'Hey,' I sighed, looking up from the floor. 'How's she doing?' Gemma asked. 'Same as usual. Therapy tomorrow so hopefully she'll improve,' I answered. 'How are you Harry, honestly?' Gemma asked. 'Its hard ya know? She can't be without me, more than ten metres away, she can't stop remembering what happened and she keeps having the same nightmare,' I rested my head on the wall. 'She's like a kid,' Gemma sighed. 'She is in some ways, but in others she's not,' I agreed. 'You think she'd let me take her shopping this weekend?' Gemma wondered. 'We can ask her. She's already thinking about school. She's really happy tonight,' I smiled. 'Its good for her to go out,' Gemma smiled back. 'I know, she just doesn't like it, all the crowds and stuff,' I frowned. 'I won't take her anywhere huge,' Gemma promised. 'I know. She's excited about Ariana taking her to the park tomorrow.' 'Good, does she know about the therapy?' 'Not yet, I'll tell her tomorrow,' I replied. 'Well, you can take my car. Let me know if you need anything,' Gemma nodded, getting up. 'Thanks sis,' I grinned up at her. 'You can do this Harry, I know you can,' Gemma smiled, then walked away.
***Gemma's POV***
I smiled down at my younger brother and walked away, considering deserted places with good shops to take his girlfriend. 'How is he?' My mum asked as I walked into the kitchen. 'He's coping best he can,' I answered. 'What happened with management then?' My mum asked. Oh, so Harry hadn't told her then... 'Well, they ditched them. They're moving to the same label as Mcfly. But I think Harry's kinda taking a break,' I explained. 'Oh?' 'He can't handle Jenna in this state and that kind of career. That's the whole reason they broke away really. He's always going to put her first,' I elaborated. 'Anyway, he might be going back to school soon,' I laughed. It was always funny to me that my almost eighteen year old brother was re doing his GCSE years. 'Don't laugh,' my mum smiled. 'He's really good with her mum,' I sighed, sitting down at the table, remembering when I'd come home to find them sat at the table - him in his underwear, her in his t-shirt. They'd asked to borrow my car. I knew what they'd done, but let them lie, tossing them my keys. Then my memory shifted to about ten minutes ago...
(10 minutes ago (ish))
''How you feeling princess?' Harry's words caught my attention as I passed his open door. I stopped and looked in. 'Good. We went on a really long walk today. We went to the park and there were lots of people,' Jenna replied. Harry's face flashed with concern but he masked it quickly, smiling down at her. I tuned them out, and just watched. I watched the way he looked at her, some of his words drifting through, his tenderness and care was obvious. I knew he was always gonna look out for her.
It made me angry, to know they had the perfect relationship until some idiot who couldn't understand why anyone would reject him, interfered and ruined it. But I could see the hope between them, as they talked.
(Present)
It was when I talked to him, and noticed the way he talked about her, like she was sat with us. I noticed that he just wanted to talk about Jenna, and how she was. But he looked worn out and in need of a break. That's why I offered to take her shopping. I knew that if I could take her out for a day, he could have a proper break - not five minutes while she had a shower. 'I know,' my mum patted my shoulder lightly, snapping me out of my daydream. 'Hey Harry,' I smiled as he walked into the kitchen. 'Hey,' Harry smiled, flipping the kettle on. 'Hey Jenna,' my mum smiled as Jenna followed Harry in warily. 'Hey,' Jenna smiled, going to stand close to Harry. 'Go sit with Gemma and mum, I'll just make this okay?' Harry lead Jenna over to us, kissing her forehead lightly.
'So Jenna, I wondering,' I started hesitantly as Jenna laughed as something mum had just said. 'Yeah?' Her attention snapped to me. I glanced at Harry, his face was taught with nerves and worry. 'Would you like to go shopping on Saturday? I promise I'll take you somewhere quiet,' I smiled. 'Sounds awesome,' Jenna nodded. Harry's face broke into a wide smile. 'Okay, Saturday it is,' I grinned, pulling her into a hug. Now I just have to think of somewhere to take her....
Gonna write next chapter in like twenty minutes, while I'm in bed, so it won't have effects and stuff. :) If you liked it, comment and vote! :) xx
