Chapter 3
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the sun shining through the window. I yawned and stretched. Today was the day I met Cassie and Andy. I walked over to my desk and slid my phone into my back pocket and walked downstairs. I walked downstairs and smelled pancakes. "Good morning beautiful!" Harry smiled and side hugged me. He had an apron on with black skinny jeans and a white short sleeve tee-shirt. "Good morning!" I smiled. This time it was a real smile. Not a fake smile like I had to do at the orphanage. "Where's everybody else?" I asked Harry as I sat down at the island. "Sleeping." He said as he shook his head. "Do you want anything to drink?" He asked as he walked to the fridge. "Can I have water please?" I asked. "Sure lovebug!" He answered happily.
I looked out the window with my glass of water in my hand. There was no clouds in the sky. It was a beautiful July day. "Good mornin' princess." Niall mumbled sleepily as he trudged into the kitchen. "Good morning Niall." I answered as he slumped down in a seat. Harry set plates in front of Niall and I. Niall and I dug into our plates. I devoured mine. Niall furrowed his eyebrow at me. "These are amazing!" I mumbled as I stuffed my face with pancakes. "No kidding!" Niall laughed as he looked at my now clean plate. I laughed along with him and put my plate in the fridge.
"Good morning love!" Louis greeted me as he engulfed me in a hug. "Good morning Lou!" I smiled. Louis sat down as Harry set a plate in front of Louis. "Thanks Hazza." Louis said as he dug into the pancakes. Harry just laughed and shook his head as he walked away.
Liam and Zayn were the last to trail in. They had bags under their eyes. they both mumbled good morning, ate and than disappeared to get dressed. "Cassie's coming at 10." Louis informed as he flipped through his phone. I nodded and stared out the window. I don't know if I should be excited or nervous. What if Cassie thinks I'm a freak? What if she thinks that I'm useless? What if she hates me? Questions kept popping up in my head and started to give me anxiety. Niall must've noticed because he put his hand on my back and told me everything was going to be alright. "Is it?" I asked myself.
10 minutes later, everybody was sitting in the living room laughing at Niall's reaction to yesterday's footie game. Then, we heard a big knock on the door. Louis slid on his socks and opened the door. I laughed under my breath at how childish Louis is. "Good morning love!" I heard Louis happily greet. "Good morning Lou!" I heard a happy voice chirp back. Louis walked in the room with a girl with shiny, long, wavy brown hair and gray eyes walk in the room. She was tall and skinny. Her smile was wide and seemed to light up the whole room. "Hi!" She smiled "I'm Cassie!" "Hi." I said shyly. Niall kicked my leg as a warning. "I'm Violet." I smiled back and held out my hand. She shook my hand and said "Ready?" "Yup!" I said popping the 'p'. She seemed nice and sweet. "Where's Andy?" I asked. "He's in the car waiting love." Cassie replied taking my hand. "Bye love!" Harry said as he embraced me in a hug. "Have fun! See you soon!" "Bye princess! Call me if you need anything! " Niall waved. "Bye everybody!" I said and shut the door behind me.
"This is going to be fun!" Cassie said excitedly as we hopped in the black escalade. I hopped in the car and buckled in. "Hello!" the driver greeted. He was dressed in all black and had a walkie talkie on his shoulder. "I'm Andy! You're name is Violet right?" he asked. I nodded. "We'll let's go! Caroline's going to meet us there." He informed as he pulled out of the driveway. I pulled out my phone and decided to flip through some apps to buy. As we pulled into the mall parking lot, my heart started pounding in my chest. It was fluttering for a second and then stopped. "Weird." I thought to myself. I shrugged and locked my phone.
Cassie grabbed my hand and instructed me to stay close as Andy directed us into Macy's. As soon as we got there, a woman with brown hair smiled and said "Hi I'm Caroline! You must be Violet! Nice to see you again Cassie!" "Yes. My name is Violet." I greeted and stuck my hand out. She laughed and shuck my hand. "Let's go to Aeropostale first." I shrugged because I have never heard of the store before and stayed close to Andy. We all walked into the store and the music was blasting. Cassie must've noticed my wincing because she told me I'd get used to it.
I got a beautiful black and white daisy dress, a couple floral skirts, a pair of flip flops and a bag. I smiled as I got to hold a shopping bag for what felt like the first time in forever. Cassie and I laughed as we gushed over which tattoos of Louis' we loved the most. My favorite was the tic tac toe board. Cassie's favorite was the pac man. We walked into another store named Hollister. The music once again was blasting and it was very dark. The skirts were too short and Caroline knew the boys wouldn't approve of them and no shirts came to my appealing. We passed this store with a lot of sports apparel in it. I asked if we could go in. Caroline sighed and shook her head yes.
The place was called Modell's. It was a sports shop with everything from jerseys to sneakers, from sweatshirts to sweatpants and from mini footie balls to American footballs. I ran over to the shorts and grabbed the ones that caught my eye off the rack. Andy chuckled and told me I was like the boys. Caroline approves of all of them. I got a pair of neon green and blue Nike free run 5.0's. I squealed as I saw the footie jerseys and got an Argentina jersey, an England jersey and brazil jersey. We payed for the clothing and exited the store.
Cassie and Caroline were talking about what store to go to next. We went down the escalator and passed a store called vans. i asked if we could go here and they said yes. I walked in and bought two pairs. a black pair and a light blue pair. We walked out of the store and I suddenly felt tired. I checked the time 12:00. "Would you like to get lunch?" Caroline asked. "Sure!" I replied as we walked towards the escalator. "Subway!!" I said. Caroline nodded and Cassie groaned. She was so hungry she didn't care at this point.
During lunch they talked about going to a store called Delia's before we go. I nodded and yawned. I felt very tired all of a sudden. We all finished up and went to Delia's. I got a couple graphic tees , jeggings and shorts. "I need sunglasses!" I shouted as I suddenly remembered the boys talking about that yesterday. "How could I forget those?" Caroline asked in a panicked mode. We ran to Macy's and grabbed a pair of black ray-bans for me. I put them on and hugged Caroline goodbye.
As Cassie, Andy and I walked back to the car, a couple of fans spotted us. We made a run for the car. As soon as we got in the car, a crowd started forming. Andy told me to text one of the boys and let them know I was on my way and that we got spotted. I took my phone out and texted Niall.

On our way, just got spotted by a few fans. I'm exhausted.

K! You'll be able to rest when you get home miss you! Xx
I smiled to myself and rested my head on the door.
I opened my eyes and realized I was in my bed. My bags were set on the floor. I sat up in alarm and checked the bags. Nothing was put away. I sighed. Why was i feeling so tired?
