Niall's POV

When Violet got home, she was fast asleep. It was 1:30 in the afternoon. Cassie handed Violet to me and Violet's bags to Louis. Harry was out with Catherine and Liam and Zayn went to some movie premiere. Louis and I decided to stay home to wait for Violet and avoid the paps. I carried Violet up the stairs bridal style and placed her down on her bed. I kissed her forehead and went downstairs. Louis came downstairs a few minutes later with a questioning look on his face. "How is she so tired? She went to sleep at a descent hour last night." Louis asked. "I was wondering the same thing." I said as I tugged at my hair. When Violet texted me about the fans, I became furious. Why would they bother her now? She has so much on her plate and now she has to deal with them? I will talk with everybody later to find a way to avoid that. I walked into the kitchen to find something to eat. On the way, I heard screaming. It was coming from Violet's room.

I ran as fast as I could. I ran into Harry as I got to the steps and pushed him. I darted up the steps and pushed open Violet's door. She was drenched in sweat and shaking. I climbed into her bed and held her in my arms to comfort her. The boys ran in and sighed when they found out she wasn't being attacked. "I thought somebody broke into her room." Harry said as he collapsed in her swivel chair. Just as the room got quiet, she started to scream again. "HELP!!!" She screamed and kicked. I held her closer and whispered in her ear "everything will be alright."

Violet's POV

I woke up in Niall's arms. I was drenched in sweat and shaking. I looked around the room to make sure my parents weren't in there. "You scared me." Niall nervously laughed as his bright blue eyes looked into my brown ones. "Sorry. Had a bad dream." I said. "Do you want to talk about it?" Louis questioned pulling himself into a sitting position on the ground. "No. I'm good." I replied. "Why don't we go sit on the balcony?" Harry suggested.

"Sure." I shrugged. Niall put me down and pulled me into a big hug. "You're the strongest girl I've ever met." He whispered into my ear. "Thanks." I smiled. It felt good to have somebody love me. I followed the boys out of my room and into the room on the other side of the hall. It had a pool table, ping pong table, a big couch and a flat screen tv. "This is the game room."Liam said. Zayn pushed open two gigantic glass doors and walked out onto the balcony. The view was incredible. You could see the whole city and the skyline. I looked around for a seat but, there was no more seats left. "Here." Niall moved around to make room in the lounge chair he was sitting on and patted the empty space. "Sit here." I shrugged and sat down.

As soon as I knew it, two hours flew by and it was time for dinner. Harry ordered Chinese for us. After the food arrived, Liam carried plates and napkins out to the deck. We all sat outside and just laughed an had a good time. I wish life would always be like this, no paps or fans to deal with. No stress or insecurities to worry about. After the sun set, I grew very tired. My eyes were threatening to close at any moment. "I'm going to carry Violet upstairs to her bedroom and put her to sleep." Niall told the boys. He scooped me up in his arms and carried me up to my room. He set me in my bed and kissed my forehead.

"Goodnight princess. I hope you get a good night sleep tonight." He turned around and shut the light off and closed the door. Than everything went wrong.
