... Lavender and sugar cookies are yummy but nothing could describe this man as anything but delicious . I walked over to the table and put down all the stuff i had in my hands and tried not to look like i was staring to long.
He put his hand through his brown hair that was barely long enough to go through his fingers and then put his hand down next to his side which made me look at his six pack. He wore blue swim shorts. and no shoes on. he was about six feet tall and was muscular but not toooo muscular.Man was he dreamy.
"Lil!?" clair said while coming out of the house in one of her neon pink one and a half swim suite.
" Yeah, Whats up?" I said as i turned around.
"Nothing just wasn't sure you were out he-"
" yup now lets get in" i said cutting her off with a big smile.
" Jump!" i yelled at clair while pulling her into the pool. laughing so hard when we came up for air i swallowed a big gulp of chlorine water. Coming to sense's i saw that the man jumped in with us and was swimming towards clair and I.
" Is everything okay" this amazingly hot random man asked while still swimming toward us.
"Yes, everything is fine. Just having a girls day.(Long pause) Um do i know you?" i asked trying not to sound rude or like i was about to drown.
" I am so sorry how rude of me. My name is Tanner, the new landscaper." He said while trying to shake my hand and stay afloat all at the same time.
" Then why are you in a swim suite?" Clair asked as either drowl or water was coming out of her mouth.
"Mrs. Grain told me if i wanted i could jump in the pool and take a swim after all the work was done." he said in a defensive manner.
"Would you like some ice cream?" i asked alittle to quickly for my liking.
" Yes, please." He said with a huge. I mean huge bright white smile.
~ An hour later~
We had played marco polo like we were five and ate the entire gallon tub of vanilla ice cream, then started to talk about what each of us like to do. Tanner likes to swim, read, hunt, and cook. I told him i liked to hunt, read, play volleyball, and swim. Clair told him she loved to sing, play board games, read history, and do gymnastics. Which was her way of showing off her flexibility.
"Lil" Cliar asked while I was in thought about i used to be a cheerleader.
"Yeah whats up?" i asked getting out of the pool.
" Do you think he knows what your family is?" she asked looking over her shoulder to make sure he wasn't listening.
"No, why do you think he would even take the job if he knew my family was vamps?" i asked alittle irretated she was even asking me this stupid question.
" Hey whats all the whisper about?" Tanner asked getting out of the water walking towards us with that smile again.
"Nothing just trying to figure out what we are going to eat for dinner." I said with a straight face believing my lie.
"How about i take you ladies out?" He offered with a wink. I should have known he was gonna try and pull a fast one, but i shock my head yes just as clair did. We looked at eachother then back at him.
"We need to get ready.!" we both said at the same time and then started to laugh.
"Okay? I will see you in one hour." He said smiling and walking off to go into the house.
~ Twenty minutes later~
"CLAIR HURRY UP YOUR USING ALL THE HOT WATER!" I yelled/screamed at the top of my lungs. what was taking her so long anyway its not like we are shaving and everything.
"Okay, Okay jeez woman. i was rinsing my hair." she said threw the door
" You know i have to take one to right? Oh and i picked an outfit out for you its on the bed. I think you will love it." i said as she walked out in a towel around her body and one on her head.
"Finally." i said walking into the bathroom and locking it.
- Clairs P.O.V.-
Washing my hair felt nice. Its always like a massage on my head.
BANG.BANG.BANG.
"CLAIR HURRY UP YOU'R USING ALL THE HOT WHATER!" I heard Lillianne scream through the door. Okay, Okay no need to beat the door down i thought as i turned off the hot water and walked up next to the door.
" Okay, Okay jeez woman I was rinsing my hair." i said trying to sound defensive.
" You know i have to take oneto right? Oh and i picked an outfit out for you its on the bed. I think you will love it." Lil said as i walk out the door my body and hair rapped in two differnt towels.
She didn't say another word walking into the bathroom and shutting the door. The dress she picked out was a red dress about knee length no shoulder straps and had a beautiful rose on the left shoulder. She had also picked out shiny black heels and a shiny black clutch purse. I love the way she just picks out my out fit and knows it will be what i would like to wear. Not to mention Tanner is hot and i cant wait to see what he looks like.
"Lil! Can i use ur phone charger? My phone died." i said while plugging my phone in to her charger hehehe, I knew she would say yes anyway.
"Yeah go ahead!" she yelled from the bathroom as i heard the shower turn off and i was fylly dressed trying to blow dry my long brown hair out of tangles.
"What are you going to wear?" I asked Lillianne as she walked out of the bathroom just like i did.
"I was thinking opposite from what you'r wearing she said with a smile. Taking her hair out of the towel letting it go wild down her back. As she pulled put the black dress exactly like mine and some red heels and clutch purse i knew we looked amazing together.
"Ready?" I asked walking towards the door after we had curled our hair and did our make up.
"Not just yet." She said making me turn around. she was holding the picture of her mom. saying she would be right back and not to worry.
looking at me she smiled and started to walk out of her room. 'This should be an interesting night.' I thought.
"Yes, It shall" Lil said grabbing my hand to go down stairs. Then out the door we were.
