I opened the gates to see Tanner fly up into the air and hit the hood of my car. " AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" I scream before I realise what just happened. clair was now awake and putting her hands over her ears because of my defining scream. When I looked back at the hood of my car Tanner was not there but a giant pure black almost blue wolf.
"What the f*ck!" i yelled while trying not to cry. I was so scared so instead of getting out of my car i jumped into the back seat right after i locked the doors. Not like it would have any trouble just riping my car in half but still. I looked at clair and she didnt look scared but ready to jump out and fight what ever tried to hurt the wolf.
She did just that. As she got out of my car i noticed clairs eyes change to a bright clear water blue. They were almost white. i was to scared to even speak. I felt my fangs pop out in my mouth and next thing i know im getting dragged out of my car. A bag was placed over my head, I hear howling in the distance as arms are firmly placed around my neck. Threatening to snap it at an given second.
I got up the courage to stick the heal of my shoe into whom ever was holding me. With one quick jump i round house kicked 'them'. I tore off the bag on my head to see an unconscious man. He looked about my age with brown hair, tan skin and muscules that i could see through his grey v-neck shirt. I could aslo smell wolfs? What the heck is going on? I thought while try to find clair.
"Clair!" i scream more like a cry then worrysum.
"CLAIIIRRRRR!" I screamed louder, next thing i could see was a dark black wolf troting towards me. I got into fighting stands and the wolf stopped. Putting its head down then, laying on its stomach, it inched closer to me, with pleading eyes. When it got close enough for me to touch, It stood. It's head was the same hight as me. Glaring at it i told it to sit. It did. Then i said. " Who are you? I can smell that you are also human." It walked behind a tree, and came out as Tanner. My mouth just hit the floor. Why couldnt i smell it befor? Why didn't my mother tell me? Does she even know?
" Yes, she knows. I am also sorry for the mess i was told to protect you from any harm." Tanner said while trying not to scare me. wait how did he know what i was thinking? Did i say it out loud?
" Yes, and i understand why you might be alittle frightend. Vampires dont ussually let wolfs on their land but your mother made an exception because i too am half and half." All i could think of is clair.
While Tanner put clothes on i sped to the end of the yard. To see a wolf with black furr and white tipped ears, feet, tail, and snout. "c-clair?" i asked while a tears ran down my face.
When she half looked up she was laying on the ground on her right side while hold a woman close to her. As if protecting her. She growled at me then laid back down. I was at her side with not a second to spare.
"clair? is it really you?" i asked while tears still ran down my face. The wolf stood up to reveal it was hurt and its entire right side from head to toe was covered in thick blood.
~~Flash back~~
" Hi daddy."
" Why, hello miss sunshine. Why are you up so early?" my father asked.
" Because today we r gonna go swim at apricot lake." i said while wiggle my toes.
" You know. For a six year old You have an exquisite memory." My father said while chuckling and standing up.
" DADDY!" I yelled. there was blood all over his bed and night clothes.
when i looked back at my father he was on the floor dead.
