~The Adventures of Uzumaki Boruto~

A Suspicious Mission

"It has been bothering for a while now after the meeting we had earlier today.."Naruto started

"What is it dad?" Boruto said getting a little worried "Has the seven wannabe swords men broke out from prison? Or even starting another war?" He said.

"No, the problem is...the Mizukage himself." Naruto said turning back to them.

"You see, we already have discussed the exams a few weeks before, comparing our meeting back then and now is very strange." He continued.

[Flashback from the previous meeting few weeks back]

"Chōjūrō I can't thank you enough for letting us compete in the chunin exams in your village." Naruto said. They are both sitting down discussing plans for the upcoming event.

"Anytime Naruto, because of the actions from your son, I have my full trust in the hidden leaf." He replied back.

"By the way, since its your village how will you plan the exam?" Naruto asked.

"I am thinking of a two on two battle on the first part but instead of fighting on dry land they will be fighting on water. It will test their skills on balancing their chakra while fighting against an opponent." he said sipping from his tea.

Naruto nodded "That is a very nice way on the first part...but how about the second?"

Chōjūrō laughed "Naruto are you planning to tell the students on how they face the exam? That's cheating you know." he said smiling.

"Nani??! No I wont, its just that many things have been going very wrong and I'm worried if that ever happens again ya know?" Naruto said in a sad tone.

Chōjūrō nodded "I understand, the second part is about teamwork, they will be staying in a forest with some jonins that carries a white flag, there goal is to defeat that jonin with their teamwork and take the white flag from them and if you don't mind, perhaps i can borrow some ninjas from your village?"

"Sure, Shikamaru will handle that."Naruto answered looking towards his lazy assistant.

And on the back of Naruto there the Hokage assistant who was listening murmured some few words that are very familiar "Jeez putting me on more work what a drag."

"The third is a one on one battle in the arena the same process on every final exams."Chojuro said taking another sip from his tea.

"I got it, when will the chunin exam begin?" Naruto asked.

"About 2 months from now, better get those kids to training, the genins from our  village isn't an easy opponent." Chōjūrō said jokingly

"Huh don't underestimate the kiddos here Chōjūrō, otherwise your kids from your village might end up in the hospital."Naruto said bragging while laughing.

[End of flashback]
"So thats what happened from the meeting I have back then, now we have a month and a week left before the exam begins" Naruto said finishing his talk.

"WHAAAT??!" Boruto exclaimed "And you could've told us sooner man I need to train." Boruto said pacing around the room.

Sarada getting annoyed, grabbed Boruto's shirt collar and punched him in the face "Calm down baka, what happens in the next meeting Lord hokage?" Sarada asked while Boruto touches his nose followed by a groan.

"Well..." Naruto starts
[flashback on the meeting this morning]

"It was late at night and I was busy doing my paper work-" Naruto started until "Tsk yeah like sleeping dreaming about ramen" Shikamaru cut him off with a sigh.
