It seemed like everything was forgotten for now.Renton treats me like he did before.He's not afraid or anything.
He was coming over to my house to watch movies.
"Whats up Rent?"I greeted,opening the front door.
He looked incredibly shy today.He eyed my outfit before attempting to make eye contact with me.
"Renton"I laughed.
His eyes went back to looking around the room instead.
"You arent talking."I said,matter-of -factly.
"Is it something I did?"
Renton shook his head and sat on the couch.He picked up a pile of my movies and went through them.
"So thats it?No talking anymore?"
He stopped sorting through the pile and pulled me close.
"If I talk...I might completely lose it."He whispered in my ear.
"Ren-"
He started sorting again.
This is unbelievable.
"You told me I was fine.That we could hang out-"
"I heard you broke up with Fred."He still didnt look at me.
"I did but Renton-"
"Now I have you all to myself."He smirked.
I laughed in shock.
"People were right about me.They were all right.I am crazy.."
I gulped.He caressed my cheek.I shivered.
"What do you mean?"I asked.
"I didnt talk.No one knew anything.I pretended.And now I dont need to pretend anymore.Because of you."He grinned,his face a few inches from mine.
"Um,so what movie did you pick?"My voice was shaking.
Renton chuckled,leaning back and passing me 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days'.
"Really?Okay."I was still shaking as I put the movie in.
As the movie played,I could feel his eyes on me.
I crossed my legs and uncrossed then several times.
"This is my favorite part."I said out loud.
Renton smiled at me and then licked his lips.
I cleared my throat.
Soon after that,the movie was finished.
I never felt so awkward in my life.
Renton used his crutches to stand and hopped over to my fridge.
"Want something?"He asked.
"Sure,get me a water."
"Come over here then."
