She entered her room with intention of Calling Omar. Without wasting much time, in less than a minute she dialed Omar's Number.
She's lucky! He picked the call on her first attempt. "Assalamu Alaiki/ka who I'm I talking with?" he whispered. She smiled and replied in a very silent voice " why are you so curious?" "Look! If you can't tell me who you're and the reason why you called don't ever call me again" he said angrily.
She laughed for some seconds and later became serious "Omar! MEPOSY!"
Only Maryam knew the name "meposy" he was totally taken aback. "Please who are you?" He asked curiously. "Well it's Maryam's friend, very tight friend" there she hanged up.
He became restless and confused. The only best friend Maryam have is Siyama, and siyama I don't think she even know me. Who could it possibly be? He soliloquized.
Fatymerh rushed to Maryam's house, for her not to understand the game going on. She met Maryam still in the room applying some makeup, she faked a smile, and sat beside Maryam. She was about to on the Air condition when Maryam's phone rang. "Fatymerh please pass the phone" she said. Fatymerh passed the phone to her.
It's Omar MEPOSY! She picked the call "hello Omar!" Hearing the word "Omar" Fatymerh became so very scared but she pretended. She rushed to the toilet claiming to ease herself.
"Why Maryam? Why will you give my number out to your friends?" That's his first statement. She became confused "what are you trying to say ? Give Your number to my friends ? Why should I ? For god sake! "..."Alright! Among your friends who do you think can call? Which of your friends knew my nickname meposy ? "
"Siyama! She's the only that knew the name, but I don't think she have your number? How's that possible? What did she told you" "some sort of stupidities" he said angrily and hanged up the call.
Fatymerh opened the toilet door smiling. "Like you just finish talking with siyama on phone right " she asked! Maryam hissed "don't disturb me please"
The following day, early in the morning, siyama was in the class reading her book when Mujaheed entered the class, he asked her about Maryam, buh what ? She never inform him about the yesterday's fight. Instead she said "I don't think she's in school! I haven't seen her actually" He smiled and sat on a sit beside her, they spent 30 minutes practicing mathematics.
Maryam opened the door and entered the class angrily, mujaheed was greeting her but she couldn't even look at him. She stood there speechless her hands folded round her waist line, with her frowned face "Siyama let me see your phone!" She asked. "As in ? I don't understand" said siyama. Maryam became aghast "will you give me or not?" "Okay my phone is with mujaheed since yesterday ask him!" She hissed and sat on the third sit there, her phone rang, fortunately, it's Omar, he called at the right time. She picked the call and asked him to send her the number of the person that called him yesterday. But what ? He couldn't find the number so he text Maryam informing her about the missing digits and he later switched off his phone.
As a result of that, Maryam and siyama have now become like enemies, they no longer talk to each other talk less of sharing their secrets to one another.
