Siyama is now in SSS3 as the Head Girl of Maitama sule academy, Mujaheed, the head boy and Maryam Bature, her bestfriend, the Assistant Head Girl. Their graduation is around the corner, almost 3 weeks now to it. They have prepared very well for the graduation party, the prom and the rest.
Today, 13th of march, 2018. The long awaited day has finally arrived. It's the graduation day for 2018 Academic session. The students were excited and at the same time very sad, leaving secondary after those years of friendship it isn't easy. Especially Siyama, Maryam and mujaheed, the love they shared is beyond the boundaries of anyone's imagination.
The principal of that great famous school known as Maitama Sule Academy (MSA) called Mr Martins welcomed all the parents, teachers and guests that attended the graduation ceremony. He also congratulated his students with tears filled in his eyes. By no means the love he have for them is extraordinarily one. He said:
"It was an absolute honor to address our graduates and acknowledge the 100th graduating class of Maitama Sule Academy. 2018 Academic session
Welcome graduates, parents, guardians, family, friends, Miss Emily (Odeyinka) Mr victor and Aunty Ganiat, Distinguished Members of the Board of Education, and staff. I am honored to be able to take this opportunity to formally introduce the Class of 2018 to the District 100 School Board on this day of their graduation. This is a significant occasion for many reasons.
On behalf of all of us, I want to express how grateful we are for your service and articulate how proud we are of you...we wish you all the best.
Some of you would say that we have assisted you, however, I would argue that you have taught us more about service, love, passion, commitment, and character than we could have hoped to teach you. For that, we are thankful to have gotten to know and grow with you. As you move on, I need you all to know that I am proud of you. I am hopeful and confident you will find success wherever your future may lead. I encourage each one of you to chase something you love and do it with respect, commitment , pride, and focus on relationships that have defined your high school experience. If you do that, you will be wildly successful, and most importantly, make yourself proud
To end my speech, I am going to give my affirmation to our graduates. You are among the best students in the world. God has put in each one of you the talents and potential to be outstanding in your further studies and future careers, to serve Him and people around you. I would like to call on the head girl of this set of 2018 Siyama Muhammad Zakyn to welcome all of you here.
She silently walked to the stage. The principal passed the microphone to her. She collected it and stood there speechless, her feet can no longer carry her. Tears flows down her checks. She remained there for almost 5 minutes couldn't say anything. People stared at her. She finally developed the courage to say something. She said
"All praise be to Allah the lord of the world. Excellencies, the Principal (Mr Martins) Senior Master(Malam Karaye), discipline Mistress (Aunty Rabiat) respected teachers, parents distinguished delegates my colleagues, my fellow Students ladies and gentlemen good day to you all. My name is Siyama Muhammad Zakyn, the very proud Head girl of maitama sule academy. I would like first to Thank you for honoring and accepting this invitations in spite of your tight schedules.
It's a pleasure to be the head girl of Maitama Sule Academy 2018 academic session. The school which is to me the best school in the world. The day I was appointed as the girl was an astonishing day not only to me but to the general students and the staff of MSA. It was only in my time that a head girl was choosing just like that, that particular day the whole school was shocked in spite the fact that I'm worthy of it.
As the graduating set of 2018 we need to express our gratitude for the opportunity that we were exposed to. Our thanks will first go to the Almighty Allah special thanks also goes to all the staff and the management of MSA. We are privileged to have attended this school. Our thanks also extend to parents and our guidance. You've remained committed to education but more importantly you've remained committed to us.
Wherever you find yourself my fellow graduating students make sure you be the ambassadors of Maitama Sule Academy. Long live Maitama Sule Academy". She burst into tears. Her speech was really heart touching.
The principal collected the microphone. "Give a round of applause to the great head girl of Maitama Sule Academy 2018 academic session. At this time, I would like to take an opportunity to recognize all of the brave students that have selected the service of our prefects. When I call your name, please stand and remain standing with your peers:

* Rahma suleiman - Assembly prefect
* Maryam Haruna -Maintenance prefect
* Aysha Maccido - Sport prefect
* Asmau mukhtar -Labour prefect
The graduation party ended happily where Siyama collected 10 awards out of 15. She's the most intelligent girl not even in their set but in the whole school.
The most memorable and surprising fact about her is that in spite of being the most religious, she's most intelligent, most beautiful, best dancer and of course the most stubborn girl in the school.
