Y/N's P.O.V:

I was in the bathroom washing my hands after R/N(Rival's Name) dumped paint on my hands in the middle of art class.  I sighed trying to scrub off the paint. I've been in here for at least 10 minutes now trying to get off all of the coats of paint. I threw my hands down into the sink and turned it off. I backed up and leaned on the nearest wall resting my eyes for a minute. My mind wandered to C/N and the fact that she probably thinks I'm a total loser. I opened my eyes and the lights shut off.

I remained silent until the floor rattled, and a painful sound pierced my ears. I peeked out the door to see that there are two men in all black running down the hallway. Everything snapped in place, that sound was a gunshot. The men barged into the science classroom. My heart dropped, C/N was in there. Without thinking I pushed the bathroom door open and ran over to the science classroom.

The door was creaked open and I saw the men with rifles in their hands standing in the classroom.

"Nobody moves an inch!" a tall man whispered and pointed the rifle at the teacher.

Holy shit, he was going to shoot T/N! I slid through the doorway to see C/N and the rest of the class huddled in a dark corner. C/N looked at me and her eyes shone with fear and distress. I gazed around the room to spot the fire extinguisher. I crept over to the corner and picked up the metal casing and charged to the other man who was carrying a knife and I leaped and smashed the fire extinguisher to his head as he fell over with a thump. The other man turned around to see me and growled. He didn't move, but only walked over to the students and grabbed C/N by the wrist and put a pistol to her head. I stopped in my tracks at looked at C/N who was staring right at me and was struggling to keep quiet. I immediately dropped the extinguisher and raised up my hands.

"You let her go and take me," I commanded trying to sound brave, but in reality, I was panicking. C/N looked at me with desperate eyes.

"Y/N no! Please don't do it." she pleaded but was only cut off by the man pushing the gun even closer to her head. I ignored her and watched the man as he silently debated in his head.

"Fine," he growled and shoved C/N to the ground and back over to the rest of the class.

I silently began to walk to him very slowly and carefully. Thank God he didn't see me pick up his partner's knife, I knew I was going to need it. I approached him and looked over at C/N to see her hugging herself tightly with tears spilling from her eyes. I backed up and stood in front of him looking him in the eyes.

I took the knife out of my pocket and switched the blade. "Suprise, motherfucker," I muttered and lodged the knife into the shooter's thigh. He screamed in agony and doubled over dropping his pistol. I picked up the gun and turned around to rest of the class. "Uh... hi," I spoke and the class erupted into cheers. The next thing I saw was a bunch of C/N's H/C hair block my vision as she tackled me to the floor crying silently. I blushed and wrapped my arms around her breathing in her scent. Everybody stopped in their tracks to look at the two of us on the floor.

"Y-You saved me... Y/N." she breathed out and tightened her grip on me like I was going to fade away.

"I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, C/N." I laughed and stepped back from her grasp. I put the knife back in my pocket and turned to face T/N who was frozen with shock and fear at the same time.

T/N finally looked at me. "Watch your language next time Y/N," she said sternly but ran over to hug me.

"No promises." I smirked and the class burst out in laughter as they all ran over to me bombarding me with questions and "thank yous". I smiled and spotted C/N in the corner looking somewhat angry that the classmates have my attention. I chuckled and walked over to her extending my hand out to poke her forehead. "You wanna spend the night at my house? Seeing that it's Friday." I blushed and looked down at my feet.

"Yeah, sure! Let me call my parents." she chirped. I couldn't see her face but the sound of her voice gave off that she was excited.

"Alright, I'll be right back and get to my class to get my stuff." I smiled and walked away with the pistol still in my hand. Suddenly, an idea popped into my head and my face twisted into an evil grin. I reached the art class and kicked the door open to see everyone still in the corner of the classroom. "Oh.. hey guys," I said waving my hand with the gun in it.

"What the hell! Murderer!" R/N screeched and the class remained silent.

"..No. I actually kicked both of the shooter's asses and I have the gun." I smirked and turned my head slightly to see the art teacher glaring at me with a "Don't you ever say that again" gaze. I walked over to get my backpack and headed back to the science class to get C/N. I took my time only to see her standing in the doorway waiting for me. My face lifted and I ran to grab her hand and dragged her upstairs."

"Y/N! H-Hey!" she laughed but didn't let go of my hand while we ran to the Principal's office.

It took us a few minutes but we finally reached the main office to see a police lieutenant in the office with the principal. I casually walked in and put the gun on the desk. "There were two of them, tall, and dressed in black. I took them out and they are currently unconscious on the floor of the science lab, so I suggest heading there Lieutenant." I explained. The police officer raised his eyebrow. "And you two are?" he questioned.

"Y/N L/N," I replied and looked over to C/N.

"Oh uh C/N C/L/N. Y/N saved my life." she stuttered and gripped my hand tighter.

"Well, Miss L/N thank you for the backup." the Lieutenant thanked me. "You know, we do need recruiting officers for the force, so I'll bring your name up to the Captain if you'd like."

I perked up and started to ramble "T-Thank you, Sir, I've wanted to be a cop since I was young."

"Well, you two better head home. I will notify the staff that school will be ending shortly today." the principal piped up and walked over to the InterCom. "Excuse me all faculty and students, the unidentified shooters have been taken down thanks to Miss Y/N L/N. Please contact your parents and have them pick you up and bring you home for the day. Thank you." he spoke with a firm voice and put the mic back down.

C/N tugged my hand and led me out of the building and down the way to my house. It was pretty silent for a few minutes until she spoke up. "So... a police officer huh?" she asked.

"Yeah, ever since I was young I knew other's lives were more important than mine and I will risk it to save people," I spoke very softly trying to make the whole situation less scary.

She smiled and looked over at me. "You're very brave you know. And if you don't make it into the force always know this," she whispered.

"Hm?" I asked.

"You'll always be my hero," she whispered and leaned over to kiss my cheek.

Heat rose to my face and she giggled and squeezed my hand as we continued walking down the lonely street. C/N started to shiver and seeing that it was winter it was pretty cold. I took off my hoodie and handed it to her. She smiled and put it on pulling me closer to her for body warmth.
