"So, how did everyone become all crystally?" Her father asks.
"No one knows exactly, but we think has something to do with the crystal heart."Bellissa answers.
"Anyway, Bellissa, I have to get back to Canterlot. I will send the workers to start tomarrow."
"Okay, but I have one last request. I would like to have Sword Dancer to be the captain of the royal guard here."
"If that's what you want then it will happen."
"So, Sombra, when are we going to have children?"
"Whenever you'd like."
~5 more years later~
"Mommy! Wake up it's my birthday!"
"Yes, Cadence, I know that, but can we celebrate it when it's not two in the morning?"
"Sure, but I already woke Obsidia up."
Bellissa groans then pokes Sombra's face.
"Wake. Obsidia is up. As well as Cadence."
They both literally rolled out of bed then slowly went to the kitchen.
"I'll make the cake you go get the decorations." Bellissa yawns.
Sombra walks into the storage room to get the decorations. He sees something shiny from the corner of his eye. He walks over to see something with a huge piece of cloth covering it. Sombra takes it of to reveal a crystal mirror.
"Hmm, I've never seen this before."
He looks at himself in the mirror for a minute. The reflection wasn't him, but it was at the same time. He suddenly falls into the mirror.
He's now in a black void.
"Where am I?"
"Inside the mirror." A voice says.
"But how?"
"That's unimportant. Hello, Sombra. I am you. The stronger you."
"I'm confused." He looks at the 'him'.
"Are you able to make any big decisions for the empire?"
"Now that I think about it, not really."
"That's because they don't trust you. They don't want you to be impowered because they know what you are capable of. But you don't yet. I can help you."
"I don't like the sound of this. I'm doing just fine with my family and they do trust me."
"With my help you can truly become a king."
"But I am truly a king. Let me leave now."
"Fine."
Then he is back in the storage room.
"That was a strange experience. My family does love me, right?"
He leaves the room with the decorations.
"Hey, you took a little bit, are you alright?" Bellissa asks.
Sombra just nods leaving Bellissa concerned.
"Okay! Let's get the party started!" Bellissa shouts.
"Yay!" Cadence shouts back as Obsidia just giggles as she doesn't know how to talk yet.
They have a great time, but Sombra is a bit out of it. Bellissa decides to confront him about it
"Sombra, you've been a bit off today. What's wrong?"
"Do you trust me?"
"Of course I do. Why do you ask?"
"Well, it seems like I'm not able to make any big decisions for the Empire and you don't really leave me alone with the kids either."
"I don't? I'm sorry I didn't even notice that. You know you can just ask if you want to have time alone with them to bond."
"Ok."
"Is that it?"
"No, do you love me?"
"Yes, I always have."
"Do you really truly love me?"
"Yes, Sombra, I do."
"She's lying Sombra. Let me take over. You can then rule. You don't have to deal with liers like her. They won't want to."
"I don't believe you." Sombra says as purple smoke came out from his eyes. His horn started becoming red at the tip.
"S-Sombra, what's happening?"
He uses his magic to teleport her as well as Cadence and Obsidia to the dungeon.
"Sombra, the Crystal heart can destroy you. Put it somewhere where no one can get to it." And he does just that.
He starts yelling orders at the guards. Everypony becoming scared for their life. Amazonite snuck into the castle to get the Crystal heart to save the Empire, bit was caught by the guards and thrown into the dungeon. Everypony list their crystal like glow.
~Canterlot~
"News from the Crystal Empire. Sombra had taken over and is destroying lives."
"I knew he was bad from the start."
Him, Luna, and Celestia went to save the Empire.
~Crystal Empire~
"Sombra, you know that this is not right." Celestia tells him.
"I want to be a ruler. The only ruler. And I will get what I want."
"A ruler is not supposed to enslave their subjects."
He then strikes at her with very powerful magic, but her father jumps in front of the beam. Her father is then gone.
"What have you done?"
"He's gone now. Never to be seen again." Sombra laughs.
Bellissa manages to get out of the dungeon and tells Cadence to go somewhere safe with Obsidia.
Bellissa goes upstairs where Celestia, Luna, and Sombra were fighting.
"Oh, look who came to join the fun. I guess this means that I will be trapped somewhere as well. But before I do I want you to watch me take away your Empire." He says then shoots a beam up into the air.
Celestia tries to stop him from casting the spell, but fails. Then he shoots at Bellissa and she slowly starts turning into a crystal statue.
"Don't worry you two, she'll still be alive. She will just disappear with the Crystal Empire for a thousand years. When the Empire comes back she will still be crystal though. You can find a way to turn her back yourself."
"Take care of Cadence and Obsidia, please Celestia, Luna." Bellissa says right before her head becomes crystal.
After that Celestia and Luna banished him to the ice of the arctic north with their magic combined.
"Now we must find Cadence and Obsidia." Luna says.
Celestia nods as they head off. They find Cadence crying in the storage room.
"Where is Obsidia?" Celestia asks.
"A beam came into here and she was sucked into the mirror. I can't go in to get her out." Cadence answers.
"It seems like he has trapped her in there." Luna states.
"Now come on. We must get out of her before we get stuck." Celestia says.
"But what about everypony else?"
"We aren't able to save them. It's too late."
Then they fly back to Canterlot together. They decided to forget about the Crystal Empire and not ever talk about it again. Luna and Celestia raised Cadence and she was like another sister to them so they made everyone think that and changed their memories so nopony would remind them of that day. Now they just have to wait a thousand years for her return.
