It All Started With A Dare...

"Shelli calm down. Liam will love it if you are there early", I assured her. We were outside Liam's house. She was nervous because she was scared if we went in early Shelli would get embarrassed. Even though I am pretty sure he likes her, boys are so confusing. I personally don't have time for disgusting boys. But Liam seems to be a good guy.

After I had told her that she is brave enough to do this at least 20 times, she gave in. However, she was still nervous as heck. I tried my best to calm her down. " Shelli, he likes you and you like him. Tonight will be perfect. Liam will tell you your beautiful and he really likes you. And then, BOOM he'll ask you on a date.

Shelli was closing her eyes, imagining it in her head. 

"You're right, tonight I will tell him how I feel." she told me.  But I could tell she was very nervous...

I rang the doorbell and knocked on the door.   Still no one was answering. But then, we both heard a faint sound from the back of the house.  We both headed back towards the back to find Liam, James, and some other dudes chatting.  Then, Liam saw us both.  Well, more like he looked at Shelli.  I was positive he was checking her out. They would be such a cute couple...

Shelli poked me in the arm knocking me out of my day dreaming. 

" Bells, all the boys are staring at us," she said to me.  I looked up to see James and two others checking me out as well.  Eww.  Gross.

To break the awkward silence, I fake- coughed.  James chuckeled while the others just stood there.  So, I suddenly pushed Shelli so she could be closer to Liam.  Tonight was her night, and I wasn't going to let her unconfident-self ruin it for her.  We were here because she wanted to talk and I was gonna help her.

"Shelli, talk." I whispered to her.

However, she wasn't ready for that yet. She stepped back.  I think she wanted to warm up first. Unfortunately, I had no idea how she was gonna do that.

The boys just kept on staring at us like they were missing something between us (which they were).

Shelli then said, " Let's play Spin the Bottle!"  The boys and I were shocked. Was this really her way of warming up?

But, since we had nothing else to do, we just went with it. We all sat in a circle with a old wine bottle in the middle.

Shelli was first.  She spun the bottle. In my head all I was thinking was please be Liam, please be Liam.                                                                                                                                                            

I was pretty sure that's what Shelli was going for.  Once it lands  on Liam she will kiss him how she always wanted to and then they would talk about how much they care about each other. Shelli was very smart, in her own way...

As suspected, the bottle pointed to Liam.  He smiled, probably glad it landed on him instead of the others.  Shelli crawled over and took him from the neck. She was kissing him fiercly and Liam was enjoying it.  After 10 incredibly long seconds they pulled away. We all just watched, saying nothing.  Shelli blushed and smiled.  

Finally, I thought to my self.  It was about time.  

" Belle. Earth to Belle! It's your turn." Shelli said to me while poking at me.

I woke up from my dreamimg, again. I get distracted very easily.

I spun the bottle and it landed on a guy who had blonde hair and was pretty cute . However, even though I hate to say to it, James is so much more hot...

He smiled at me. I smiled back and started to lean in. I could feel everyone's stare on us both. I kissed him quickly not wanting to make a scene in front of everyone. I then pulled back and blushed. James stare was on me the whole time. 

Something was on his face, but it disappeared too quickly for me to figure out what it was. Was it jealously?

Finally, more and more people started to come in the backyard  which made me happy. I didn't really want to keep playing Spin the Bottle.  

After an hour of dancing and drinking ( soda/water ) I decided to leave. Like I told you before, I wasn't a party girl.  I looked and asked about where Shelli was but no one has seen her. Oh. I realize it now. She was probably "hanging out" with Liam.

Great. Now my cousin and my ride was gone. 

Someone then tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to see James smirking at me. Ugh. What did this idiot want now?

" I heard you were looking for a ride." He said to me. " Yes, I do but not from you!" I replied icily.

" Ouch. Come on, all I am doing is driving you home. I swear I won't let anyone happen to you, I promise" he told me. Even though, he annoys me like hell, I could tell he was telling the truth.

" Alright fine." I said. He smiled. Not like a smirk, it was an actual genuine smile.

We walked to a red sports looking car. It looked familiar. Wait! I saw this car today. Before anyone else was home, someone kept on knocking and ringing the doorbell. Was it James who was outside the house? Did he want to give that neckalace to me?

So many things were going through my mind  now.

Why me? I am nothing but a girl who likes to read books...

To my surprise, we were already at my aunts house. Huh. Time passes by when you're hanging with the bad boy.

"Thanks for the ride. I better get going." I studdered.

" Belle, I am not the guy you think I am. I just... I just thought you should know that. Umm. Well, see you on tomorrow." He said to me. I think he nervous? I wasn't quite sure, I've never seen him this way before. I just nodded in reply not really knowing what else to do.

He drove away without another word and I watched him like an idiot. Something that night changed within me. Cause my heart started to pump really fast.
