The freezing air surrounds you, efficiently cooling you to the core. Shivers rack your body as you walk, in desperate search of warmth. The trees stand tall, though they shake in the wind. Even though the sun hangs in the sky, it does little to warm you. Upon the horizon is a small store, and though it may seem insignificant, it would be your current savior. Racing towards the source of warmth, you drop a few things along the way.

"Welcome!" A masculine voice shouts from the front. You sigh in relief, shaking the cold from your limbs. The shop was nice and toasty, and smelled slightly of cigarettes. Wandering towards the warm food cooker, you survey everything up for sale. Spotting some muffins, you snatch two up and walk towards the front. The gruff looking man types your things into the register.

"Will that be all?" He asks, looking towards your shivering form. Nodding your head yes, he reaches his hand out towards you.

"That'll be four dollars even." He says, sliding a receipt in your direction with his other hand. You reach in your jacket pocket to grab your wallet, though you come up empty. Frowning, you go to your other jacket pocket, your purse, your jeans, though you can't seem to find it. Panicking slightly, you check your purse again, but there's no sign of it. The clerk looks at you in confusion before sighing. Flinching, you look up at him.

"Um... It seems tha-" You start, though you're interrupted by the bell ringing from the front. The cashier yells a welcome, and a tall boy with dark hair and a scowl approaches him. The two talk for a second, and the cashier nods at him.

The dark haired male looks over at you, and he lifts up a (F/c) wallet. In his other hands are your keys, as well as your phone. Your eyes widen, a bright smile enveloping your face. Though he blushes a slight red, he reaches his hands out towards you.

"You're (L/n) (F/n) right? I found these on the way here and your wallet has your student ID in it." He says, handing you your belongings. Nodding your head, you can't help but notice his Kitagawa Daiichi uniform.

"These are, in fact, mine! Thank you so much! I see that you go to Kitagawa Daiichi?" You say, looking him up and down. Nodding his head, he opens his mouth to speak.

"And you go to Yukigaoka." He says, looking at your uniform. Smiling brightly, you nod again.

"We beat them in a volleyball tournament not to long ago. An annoying orange haired kid was on the team." He says with a scowl that could burn forests. You snicker slightly, realizing something. This guy sounded really similar to a guy Shoyo had been complaining about lately.

"Yes, I believe I know who you're talking about. Hinata Shoyo, very small and energetic. We're quite close after all. So you must be this 'King of the Court' he kept yelling about?" You ask, and though you notice his facial expression freeze, you say nothing about it. He nods his head stiffly.

"Well thank you...?" You ask, tilting your head to the side while lifting up your returned objects.

"Kageyama Tobio." He answers. Nodding your head, you turn to pay for things. Kageyama picks up a few meat buns and rings those up. As you walk out of the store, you hear footsteps behind you. Looking back, you realize Kageyama is going in the same direction as you.

"Are you getting on the bus as well?" You ask, pointing towards the bus stop. He nods, picking up his pace to walk with you. A small smile graces your lips at your new found friend. Settling down on the bench, the two of you wait in a comfortable silence. The cold air blows around you, and you shiver slightly. You hear a slight rustling, and the heavy feeling of a coat is placed on you.

"K-Kageyama...?" You stutter, peeking out from underneath his large jacket. He looks the other way, a noticeable blush dusting his cheeks. You look away, sliding into the warmth of his jacket. The bus rumbles up, emitting it's poisonous toxins into the earths atmosphere. The two of you get onto the old bus, sitting next to each other at the back. You look out of the window, though all you would like to do is study the sharp angles of the boys face.

Halfway to your destination the bus stops and Kageyama rises quickly. He looks at you, nods, and leaves the warmth of the bus. You smile at him through the window and wave, causing a blush to rise to his cheeks. Only when you get home and in the warmth of your bed do you realize that you hadn't given his jacket back.
