Volleyballs fly around the gym, slamming against the gym floor. The boys are practicing insanely hard, as the third years would be graduating in mere months. Up would move the second years, and you first years would take their place. Even though everyone was doing amazing, there was one person who was trying the hardest. Kageyama Tobio. He went from Hinata to Daichi to Asahi, setting up spikes for each of them. About halfway through practice, he approached the bench.

"Could I leave now? I have something I need to take care of." He asks Ukai, jogging slightly in place out of impatience. Ukai nods his approval, and Tobio races to the changing rooms. He comes back out, and holy shit he looks better than he did when he came to practice. It seems he's just taken a quick shower, so his hair is damp, and he's wearing jeans and a fitted t-shirt. His bag hangs over his shoulder, giving him more of a boyish vibe.

"Hot." Is what runs through your mind, your face flushing a light red. Though you tell yourself to stop looking, it seems as if you can't.

"(F/n), can you come with me?" He asks, pointing to the gym doors. You nod your head, grab your things and follow him out. Though you don't know, the boys are all snickering behind you. They know something you don't.

"Tobio, where are we going?" You ask, catching up to his long stride. He looks at you, then looks straight again.

"You'll see." He says, scratching the back of his neck. Silence envelopes you, though it's comfortable. As you hum to yourself, you feel something clasp your hand. Looking down, Tobio has your hand held in his. You gasp quietly, looking at his face. Though he looks away, you can still clearly see the blush adorning his cheeks. In a rush of bravery, you thread your fingers through his. Though Tobio doesn't react outwardly, you swear you feel him jumpy slightly.

"Ice cream..." he mutters, though you don't hear him.

"What was that?" You ask, looking into his blushing face.

"We're going to get ice cream." He says, looking away from you. You nod happily, swinging your hands back and forth. Though silence ensues, it is a comfortable one. One of love and hope and dreams. One that could carry you across the whole ocean, and still leave you not wanting to break it. So you sit in silence, reveling in its power to convey what words can't.

The ice cream shop is cold, and even colder it gets as you approach the front. Your eyes widen in delight as they survey the frozen treats, trying to decide which to choose. You go with (F/i/f) while Tobio chooses plain old (Lf/i/f/). Taking your treasure to the nearest table, you sit and savor its flavor. Tobio watches you, mesmerized by your beauty. The way your (H/c) hair shimmers from the sunlight. How your smile lights up a room. The happy glimmer in your eyes from something as simple as ice cream.

"...bio. Tobio? Your ice creams melting." You say, watching it drip down the the side of his hand. He looks down in panic before clumsily collecting some napkins. He excuses himself to the bathroom while you laugh quietly. You gently put his cone into a bowl and get him a spoon. Tobio returns, a nervous look on his face. You smile up at him, and though his face relaxes, you can tell he's still anxious. Reaching over the table, you grab his hands in yours. He jumps in response, but relaxes after a bit.

After finishing your ice cream the two of you leave, and Tobio won't tell you the next destination of your travels. Walking down the sidewalk, the sun sets against the horizon. You walk with a small skip, your hand still clasped in Tobio's. Turning a corner, you stumble upon a small flower shop. Tobio pulls you towards it, and you enter happily. You separate yourself from him and walk towards the back, staring at the colorful flowers. Tobio follows behind quietly, picking up one of every flower you so happen to set your eyes on. As you look through the garden tools he goes to the front, purchasing the flowers and laying them carefully in his gym bag.

"(F/n), are you ready to go?" Tobio asks, wandering back towards you. Nodding your head you follow him out, wondering where you're off to now. Straight ahead sits a comfy park, and the two of you take a seat at the benches. You can't help but keep a smile on your face.

"Thank you Tobio. I had a really fun time today." You say, learning in and kissing his cheek. He blushes deeply, stuttering slightly. Grabbing your shoulders, he turns your body away from his.

"Stay." He says, and you hear a rustling sound behind you. He takes a deep breath and lightly taps your shoulder. Turning around, you gasp in disbelief. He sits in front of you with a huge bundle of flowers, all wrapped up in a (F/c) ribbon.

"T-Tobio?" You ask, staring at the male in disbelief. He shoves the flowers at you, coughing in embarrassment. Light pink dusts his cheeks.

"Um.. W-will you... be so kind as to... give me the honor of... will you...?" He mutters, looking down at his hands. You giggle slightly, grabbing his hands and squeezing them.

"Tobio, will you be my boyfriend?" You ask, leaning closer to his face. Though his eyes widen, he nods his head multiple times. A large smile takes over your face, and you throw your arms around his shoulders. The two of you fall over, laughing like mad men.
