 I sat next to Cory at lunch on the table.Minkus stood beside us.

"Hey Cor,Lele I brought you a great article on Barry Bonds."Shawn said walking in and handed Cor a newspaper.Cor put it to the side so I could see too.

"The 43 dollar million man."I said fascinated

"Why do they call him that?"Minkus asked.

"What do you think Minkus?"Cory asked

"Because that's what he's getting payed to play basketball for 6 years."Shawn said 

"7.6 million a year?"Minkus asked

"If that's what it comes out to then yeah."I said

"He happens to be one of the top guys in basketball."Cory said

"Well,I happen to think that Mr.Feeny is one of the top guys in teaching.He makes $40,000 a year."Minus said

"That stinks."Shawn and I said at the same time.

"Finally,something we agree on."Minkus said.

"Yeah."Cory said.

"Feeny aint worth that kind of money."Shawn said and we started laughing.

"You thought I meant that he was overpaid?No I meant that Mr.Feeny is grossly and tragically underpaid."Minkus said.

"Minkus...May I call you Minkus?Does spelling ever change?No.Does history ever change?uh uh.Does Feeny ever change?Never.Want to know why?Cause teaching 6th graders never change."Cory said.

Minkus crossed his arms."Well I think your wrong."

"Well I think i'm right.I think that in 5 seconds Feeny walks in takes a sip from the water fountain,flicks his mustache goes to the coffee machine sees me and Liz and says.Good morning Mr.Matthews,Parish I trust you did the homework.Everyday the same thing.So predictable."Cory said

 We all turned around to see Feeny drink out of the water fountain,flick his mustache and walk past us."Good morning Mr.Matthews,Parish I trust you did your homework."

"Yes I did sir."Cory said.

"But my sister ate it."Cory and Feeny said at the same time.

Feeny turned towards me."What about you Parish?"

"I did too."I said

"But I lost it from getting into a fight with someone who said that you were the worst teacher ever."Me and Feeny said at the same time.

"You are so predictable."Feeny said to Cory and I.

In Feeny's class we sat in our usual spot which is me sitting next to Shawn and Cory sitting in front of Shawn.

"This week in social studies,we'll be talking about prejudice."Feeny announced.

"Good because i'm prejudice against the scrungy food in the cafeteria."Cory said making everyone laugh.

Shawn and Cory highfived.

"We'll be discussing black slavery,and American South."Feeny said handing out books."The Jews and Nazi Germany,and several examples of prejudice throughout history.Tonight your assignment is to read the first 30 pages of this book."

Cory looked at the book."Oh man it's a book about some girl."

The bell rang and everyone left.We stayed behind because Cory was called to Feeny.Cory nodded at us telling us to go so we did.
