Two Bit's POV: After two days in the hospital Ponyboy came home, Sodapop took off work to stay with him until he got better. When I came by I saw he was warming up some bake chicken, which is Pony's favorite food. I went with him to give him the food. Hey, Pony got you some food. He said trying to give it to him. No, I don't like baloney. He said. It's not baloney its bake chicken, you like chicken. He said. No, I don't like it. He said. Well how about a Pesi? I said getting one. I gave it to Soda and he was drinking it right away. I hated to see him like this, he went through a lot, he lost his parents, he lost his two best friends, and might get thrown in a boys home, and he was sick. This kid couldn't catch a break. I stayed with him, when Sodapop went to work to get his paycheck. He tried to get out of bed like three times but I stopped him. Then he called out for Sodapop, and the second he did it was like Soda could feel him calling him or something, because he was right there, running to see him.
