The sun is just setting,
The moon's already up, in the sky,
Your eyes are heavy,
I'm just not ready to say goodbye.
And I look up at the stars...
And I ask...
Can I have a little more time?
I want this girl to be mine.
A second or two, a minute would be fine.
Can i have a little more time
Your breathing is slowing,
I can feel your heart, beating fast
I'm trying to hold the moment.
Doing what I can, to make it last.
And I look up at the stars...
And I ask...
Can I have a little more time?
I want this girl to be mine.
A second or two, a minute would be fine.
Can i have a little more time
She's smiling and sleeping,
I'm holding her as tight as I can,
Can't get rid of this feeling,
Just want to be her man.
And I look up at the stars...
And I ask...
Can I have a little more time?
I want this girl to be mine.
A second or two, a minute would be fine.
Can i have a little more time
A little more, time.
