At the End of Each Day
As I kneel down to pray
Dear Lord,
I hope you hear my word
I don't need anything
But there are some
Who need your blessing
Dear Lord, please come
Come down and see them
The sick and hurt
Dear God I can only ask for so much
But Dear God this means so much
To me
I am your servant
Please hear your servant's pleas
As she begs you on her knees
She begs that he will not get sick
And he'll be well again
Dear God your servant is praying
She's praying 'till the very end
Dear God, She'll offer her life
She'll offer her life for a friend's
Dear God that's all she asks
That if she meets her bitter end
That she knows she's saved a friend
A/N: I have a friend right now that has a high chance of getting cancer. This poem was different than my other ones. If you're not a religious person and don't like reading these sort of things, then I probably wouldn't read the next few. If you are, please pray with all of your heart.
