Betrayal (N):
Betrayal is the breaking or violation of a presumptive contract, trust, or confidence that produces moral and psychological conflict within a relationship amongst individuals, between organizations or between individuals and organizations.
Betrayal isn't what I expected of you
I thought you understood me too
But I am not the fool
I am tired of you using my sympathy as a tool
I tried to understand
But you wouldn't listen
So I took a stand
I don't know how you're not guilty
I spent my time and used it to worry
I'm not sad
I'm mad
Pure anger
Towards you, stranger
I don't know you
I knew
Someone like you
But that was before your self pity took control
Now I know not who you are
Only that you have pushed me far
Beyond what I can take
Open your eyes!
Silence your cries!
Can't you see past your own nose?!
Your self pity is pushing me away
In rows and rows
I hope you're happy
I hope you're happy now
I hope that you'll begin to understand
The betrayal of this brand
A/N: Long story short, someone who I thought was a friend isn't. And he doesn't feel a bit guilty about accusing me of not understanding. Thanks for that.
