An Extra Hand

{Marceline's P.O.V.} 

I knew I had to go to go to work today since wednesday I decided to text Bonie for a day off on Thursday but I really didn't want to make it up on a Friday, the day I am supposed to be off along with Saturday and Sunday. But I got up and got dressed, brushed my hair and teeth, ate some breakfast, and got on my bike. I made it to work and I got my walkie from the Employee Room and realised that the extra walkie that said Pep is gone. Were they here today? I look to see a small man go through the storage boxes that look like they just came in, he was labeling them and placing them in stacks. I went out of the Employee Only Room and noticed the shelves were already stocked. I knocked and opened the door to the Princess's 'liar' and peaked my head through the door. "Uh who is the short guy?" She looked up from her computer "Oh that is Mr.Peppermint, I call him Pep though, he has worked here before but he usually works on the company's stock grid and sorts the amount sold, which is also my job but I switched him to help check off new stocking items and cleaning duty." I stood there for a moment "Oh well the shelves are already stocked, did he do that?" She smiled "No I did, figure you would be tired so I gave you a break" I was shocked and looked at her "Thanks I guess" I back my head out of the door and walked over to see what she is doing, she seem to notice I was curious and said "Oh I am organizing pay for us, I am also gonna work on stock payments, and billings for the store, and other fees" I looked at her like she is crazy, which she is.. She does all that by herself?! Is she even human?! I glanced at her office, it is messy and covered with papers. I stretched and organized her office, sorting out papers, which I had to read each individual paper before putting it into one of the neat stacks I made. She looked in shock that I was doing this for her, I finished and said "I am only doing this cause I have nothing else to do.." She turned back to her computer "Don't mix any of those documents up or I will be pissed." I groaned at her ungratefulness and watched work for a bit before hearing customers walking in. I went back to work, stocking shelves and scanning purchases. Finn and Jake would talk to me when they visit the store so I wasn't bored out of my mind to today then when it was closing time I packed up. "Goodnight, Princess" I waved and she groaned "Stop calling me that already" I smirked and chuckled "Nope~" I walked out and chuckled again, getting on my bike and driving home. When I got home I got ready and layed in my bed.

(It has been very boring and busy today but heck I was able to squeeze in another chapter! I seriously have to get friends or another hobby :,D)
