Emberwing stood up, the moon light filtering through the bramble walls of the warriors' den. She stretched, yawning quietly and heading to the entrance.

"Hey Emberwing!" A voice whispered.

Emberwing turned around to find a golden tabby tom, Swiftcreek, walking over to her, clumsily tripping on the paws and tail's of other warriors but not seeming to wake them up.

His green eyes lit up the  dark den as he stood infront of her.

Emberwing purred as the tom brushed his head agaisnt hers, touching noses.

"Are you leaving?" The tom asked, his eyes slightly alight with concern.

"Yes." Emberwing replied, her amber eyes flicking side to side.

"But where?" Swiftcreek mewed as his companion made her way to the entrance.

"Im going on a walk." Emberwing lied. She didnt want to.. lie to him though.

The tom opened his mouth to object but clamped it shut again, touching his nose to her cheek.

She purred. "I'll be back soon."

"Ok i'll be waiting for you." He whispered in her ear before turning and heading to his nest.

She watched Swiftcreek curl up in his nest, her eyes glinting with affection, before stalking off.

The clearing was empty except for a silver tabby she-cat sitting near the entrance. It was Crescentflower.

"Come on!" Crescentflower whispered once the other she-cat had walked over to her.

Emberwing slowly padded out of camp after Crescentflower, the forest quiet except for the wind and few birds singing their final chirps for the day.

They made there way to a streem, using the stepping stones to slowly make their way across.

Crescentflower seemed to know the way better than Emberwing did. "She must've taken a trip with Littlegaze.." Emberwing's thought made her slightly narrow her eyes in thougt.

Suddenly, she heard a twig snap. Emberwing jumped, suddenly snapped out of her thoughts, and looked around.

She heard a bush rustle, zipping around as soon as the noise reached her ears.

Nothing was there.

She heard another twig snap, watching as a stick and a few leaves fell from a near by tree.

When she looked up at the tree, she saw the black creature, now in the pale moon light looking like a cat, with its white eyes glinstening with stars.

"Wh-what?!" Emberwing gasped.

"Emberwing whats wrong?" She heard Crescentflower's voice get closer and closer to her.

Emberwing's silver tabby friend casted a glance up the tree as Emberwing let out a trembling meow, "I-i saw... th-the creature!"

"What do you mean? And whos the this creature?" Crescentflower cocked her head. "I dont see anything.."

"Wait only i can see it?!" Emberwing yelled.

She watched as the black cat jumped from the tree, dashing away once its paws hit the ground, and disappeared into the undergrowth.

"Hey get back here!" Emberwing yowled, dashing  after it.

"Emberwing get back here!" She heard Crescentflower shriek, but Emberwing didnt stop.

The black feline was up ahead her, turning and jumping swiftly, but Emberwing managed to keep up.

The tabby made her way through a bush and finnaly saw a stream, the pale moonlight making it look like it was filled with stars.

"Emberwing!" Crescentflower skidded to a halt beside her, panting. "Whats up with you?"

"I saw the creatur- cat from my dreams!"

"Really?" The silver tabby's blue eyes widened then narrowed. "That must explain why only you can see it.."

After a moment of silence Emberwing spoke up. "Well atleast we made it to the starstream."

"Great!" Crescentflower bounced joyfully. "Lets go! I cant wait to visit Starclan!"

With that Crescentflower dashed forward, lying beside the river, and lapped a few drops of water. Soon she fell asleep.

Emberwing did the same, the water icy but yet comforting. Emberwing soon fell into sleep.

"Oh your here." A deep voice reached Emberwing's ears.

"Huh?" Emberwing opened her eyes to find the black cat sitting on some moss near a stump, its black tail flicking.

"Come on Emberwing! Why dont you sit here and join me on some comfy moss? Your just in time for a meal!"

The she-cat walked over slowly, sitting on some moss on the other side of the stump.

"So?"  Emberwing glanced at the black cat as it spoke. "Hows that scratch?"

Emberwing had forgotten about it, looking at the scratch on her side.

"I-its fine i guess.."

"Thats good to hear.." the black tom purred, its eyes glinting but it was hard to tell with his starlight eyes. "Oh and look! Here comes our food!"

Emberwing glanced around. Her eyes landed on a white cat with black eyes, seeming to be the oposite of the black tom, holding something in her jaws. The white cat dropped the thing she was carrying onto the stump, Emberwing realising  it was mouse.

"Thank you Ying!" The black cat purred.

"Your welcome brother!" The white cat meowed happily, its black eyes glinting.

"So the black cats a boy? How like wise.." Emberwing thought.

"Yes im a tom." The black tom seemed to read her mind.

"I-im sorry-"

"No need to apologize! Im Yang, and i know your Emberwing." He meowed as he saw Emberwing open her mouth to say her name. "Now come on, i bet you want to know whats happening with your dreams?"

"YES!" She stood up. "What do they mean? Why are you always there! How do i have this scratch from my dream? Why are you-"

"Shh!" Yang now placed his tail on her muzzle. "You want to know the truth?"

Emberwing nodded.

"Well... because... i have a prophecy for you.."
