I watch as Cole's chest goes up and down. He so peaceful when he's sleeping. Cole and I been dating for a couple of months now and he's the only one other than my friend (F/N) who knows about my past. I still wonder why he's still with me. I have so many things wrong with me like (Your flaws). Cole jumped up which scared the sh!t out of me, causing me to jump fall back and on to the floor.
"Mother F#cker," I whispered under my breath, I get up from the floor and see two scared brown eyes staring back at me. "Cole, is everything alright?" I asked him, he didn't move his gaze when he spoke out a "Yeah".
I noticed that Cole's been getting more nightmares and night terrors a lot more lately. "Cole, if you want to talk about anything, let me know," I whispered.
"Ok."
"The secrets you tell me I'll take to my grave. There's bones in my closet, but you hang stuff anyway. "
"So that's why you been getting more nightmares lately." I hum at the end as Cole give me a shy nod. "Cole, you know that I'll always love you." I give him a kiss on his check. "Now go to bed." I giggle at his blush.
I as I lay back down I get reminded of my past. Cut, cut, cut, it was I did and think about but he came into my life.
"Thank you ..." I whispered going to sleep, with a smile on my face.
