Cross over to another World

Part 2

Heey~ its me. im writing this story because it's mostly happy and adventurous, meanwhile i started Fox Fur when i was depressed so it has a much darker plot. i honestly just want a break from thinking about it. for those of you waiting for the new chapter of Fox Fur, sorry to make you wait longer than you already have.  anyway, the Adventure starts here!

"Look! The older one is waking up!"

... ... ...

Kid shot up.

"Detective!" he practically shouted, looking around wildly, surprising the small crowd of people around him.

"Whoa! Chill! Um.. Not sure who 'Detective' is. But, there's a little guy who entered with you. Do you know him?" A boy spoke, young, but older than Conan. He was blond with a black highlight in his hair. he was wearing black and white with some sort of device attached to the side of his head. Kid didn't really care for the boy's appearance, but was more intrigued by what he had said. He looked around for his small rival, but didn't see him.

"Where?" The image of Conan's pained expression stuck in his mind. Kid tried to stand on weak legs, but stumbled, the blond boy stepped forward to catch him.

"Easy there! You need to rest, come on, once we find out more about this 'Detective' guy we'll go search for him. Ah! Right, Ashido, could you take the boy to the village? I'm sure he's no threat."

"Yeah I'll-

"You shouldn't underestimate Detective-kun." Kid interrupted, he rolled up the sleeve on his left arm, a large bruise was apparent. "Solid evidence. Also, you seem like a nice person, Blondy, but I'd rather not leave that boy in your hands." 

"Blondy? Oh! Right. We don't know each other's name's. I'm Denki Kaminari" Kaminari introduced himself while trying not to be too shocked by the wound the small boy had left. "Behind me are, Kyoka Jiro, Jue Itu, and Mina Ashido." He gestured to the three.

Kid looked behind Kaminari, three females were present. Kyoka Jiro wore a peach tank top with a  black leather jacket on top, white gloves with no fingers except for the middle, black pants and Velcro boots. Mina Ashido wore a purple and blue skin tight jumpsuit, a fluffy yellow collar, and pale yellow and red boots. Kid thought she was strange since the whites of her eyes were black, she had pink skin, and appeared to have horns similar to that of deer. Jue Itu had  black pants with a hoodie that has guns, pencils, swords and knives outlined in white against garnet, wearing red sneakers.

"You and the boy?" Jiro asked Kid getting tired of being observed.

"Right, I'm Kaito Kid," He refrained from using his real name. "The boy's name... Don't know. I just call him Detective-kun." He looked at Ashido was carrying Conan on her back, she looked quizzical as to why he didn't know his name, though Kid thought it was best to keep his job a secret for now.

"What's your guy's quirks?" Ashido suddenly asked in a bubbly tone, her head was tilted slightly.

"Quirk? Like an ability? well, mine would be magic tricks, for Detective-kun it would be soccer." Kid answered Ashido, not sure why she was asking.

Kaminari stepped in "No, not skills, quirks." from the tone he was using he thought it would be obvious what he was talking about. "Maybe you just call it something different, so I have electrification, Ashido has acid, and Jiro has earphone jack. So?"

Kid had no idea what they were asking  so he answered with, "Don't have one.." 

All three of then looked a little shocked but after a few seconds seemed to have an idea. "You must be like the commoners, in that case you shouldn't be much of a threat, but before we take you anywhere we'd like to know if you have any gadgets or guns. And we're only asking this since you seem trust worthy enough to tell the truth."

"Detective-kun and I have gadgets for self defense, I'm sure we'd both want to hold onto them." Kid answered not knowing where they were going to take him was any safer then where they were now, or what the dangers were.

"Well, if you want to stay out here with them, you can, but I wouldn't recommend it." Jiro spoke, he could see earplugs swishing at her feet and wondered if they were any safer.

"What do you mean, 'them'? there isn't anyone around." Kid asked waiting for one to tell.

"You might not believe it but there are weird creatures roam around and will attack you, not to mention.. The dragons." Ashidos voice went from happy to hesitant in seconds, practically painting a picture for kid, one that he would not want to steal. "The dragons around here are called Skywings, if one finds you.. well just hope they get bored with you quickly."

Ashidos answers were terse but Kid had gotten the idea, staying here could mean certain death. "Well then, where are you going to put our things?"

"Ah, we're just going to bury them in a cloth. mind handing them over?" Kaminari asked with and outstretched arm.

Kid gave Kaminari his card gun, grappling hook, and smoke bombs, along with varies other things used in his heists.  "While I don't know if he got something new, Detective-kuns glasses, bow-tie, shoes, and belt are gadgets.." Ashido took those items off the unconscious Conan and handed them to Kaminari. "That should be it, are we ready to go?"

"Well almost.. we need to cover your eyes. just in case." Itu finally spoke, and while doing so, she seemed to be doodling in a sketchbook, and before his very eyes she pulled a black handkerchief out from the pages and handed it to him. "Make sure you can't see."

After many stumbles, strange sounds, and "Are we there yet"s. the Handkerchief disappeared but Kid didn't see anything.

"Where are we?" Kid asked.

"We're on the border of Rainwing territory, also known as the human refuge camp. look to your left." Kid looked and wasn't sure why this was any safer. on barren ground lay a beaten old town that was scorched and seemingly empty. Compared to what he was used to, this was not something he could call home, but it seems as if he would have too.
