Evilin felt her heart sink as her mind was confused. "The Black Ale?" She questioned under her breath. The sound of her voice was hushed by the loud noises and voices around them.
Before she knew it the pirates were yelling and moving about rather quickly. Taking away the plank and cutting the ropes and chains that connected the two ships.
Crates and other goods were already being brought over to the pirate ship and soon the two ships disconnected. She couldn't really say how long they stood there watching the pirates hustle about. Time was lost as the Black Ale pushed off away from the other ship. distance grew rather quickly making Evilin fell like the world she once new would die at sea.
Her mind was becoming very dark and dramatic as she stayed close to Rachael and Caroline.
A few pirates came over to them and one of them she was quick to recognize. The archer.
He looked them over with dark and narrowed eyes. "Move." He stated in a dull voice.
Evilin stepped aside and waited. She watched him with wide eyes not sure why he wanted her to move. She could feel her stomach twist as she noticed the angered look on the archer's face. He gritted his teeth as he suddenly reached out and took hold of Evilin by her hair.
Pulling her along he ignored the cries and yells from Caroline and Rachael. They were quickly silenced as other pirates came over and grabbed the two girls with Henry. They followed the archer up the stairs, past the helm and through a set of double doors.
There the archer shoved Evilin into the center of the room. She was greeted by Henry, Rachael and Caroline as well.
About eight pirates stood around the room watching them.
Evilin took note of the room as she looked to each of their kidnappers. The room was rather large and had a large table off to one side. In the far back was another door, no windows and tables lined the room with random items and food on top of them.
Blood stained their clothes while painting of a skull covered their faces.
"What do you want with us?" Rachael spoke up.
The pirates were quiet... Too quiet.
"Kare no ude o kotei shite kudasai." The archer stated to another pirate.
A man with long black wavy hair and black eyes nodded as he stepped over to the table. He pulled up a chair and motioned for Henry, "Come here." He told him.
Henry had been all too quiet for some time now. Pain was written all over his face as he stayed where he was.
The archer rolled his eyes at this and moved behind Henry. "We just gave you an order." The archer stated.
Henry glance over his shoulder to the archer. "Well I don't take orders from."
Before he could finish his words the archer gave a swift kick to the back of Henry's legs, dropping the man to his knees.
He grabbed a handful of Henry's hair and pulled back placing a black steel dagger to Henry's neck. He leaned forward and spoke in a whisper. "When we tell you to do something... You do it without question." The archer warned in a dark breath of air.
He let go of Henry and removed his blade. "Move." He stated.
Henry felt his world crumble as he felt helpless. He only wished that there was something he could do to change the tides.
The archer was getting very tired of Henry's stalling. He went to take a step forward but another taller pirate stepped forward. He lifted Henry to his feet and guided him over to the chair at the table. He sat him down and called over a few more pirates.
"This will hurt." The man with long wavy hair told Henry.
Henry looked at him confused as more pirates took hold of him tightly. Placing his arm on the table.
The arrow stuck in his arm had stopped half way through. The man looked it over before taking off his belt.
Henry felt himself tremble at the thought of what this man planned on doing. He watched as the pirate placed his belt around the upper part of Henry's arm. He tightened it greatly before looking to the arrow.
"Hold him steady." The man kept his eyes on the arrow.
He took hold of the arrow and quickly snapped it in half.
Henry's body was once again filled with pain, he let out a cry as he tried to pull his arm away. But the pirates holding him wouldn't let that happen.
The man pulled the rest of the arrow out of Henry's arm quickly and carefully. Henry felt his leg twitch as the pain grew.
Rachael went to step forward but another pirate reached out and grabbed her by the arm. He pulled her back and wrapped his arms around her. "Henry!" She called out.
"Leave him alone you demons!" She yelled.
A pirate stood between Rachael and her view of Henry. He pulled back his hand and released it with a great force. A loud slap caught Caroline and Evilin's attention over Henry's screams.
Both stood in shock as Rachael now lay on the floor. She looked up slowly with hatred in her eyes and blood on her lip.
"You will release us at once." She sneered.
"We shall do nothing of the sort." The pirate before quickly responded.
"Then why are we here?" She demanded.
The pirate said nothing as he stood there and watched her.
"Answer me." Rachael wiped the blood from her face.
Still no answer.
"Finished." Came the pirate who pulled the arrow from Henry's arm.
The pirates quietly started to make their way to the double doors. But the one that hit Rachael was stopped as Rachael got up to her feet and rushed at him. "Why are we here?!" she cried out.
With little effort the pirate shoved her back and casually left with the others. Soon the four were left alone in the large room.
Rachael rushed to the door once it shut and tried to open it. Of course it would be locked, but she was determined to open them.
"Let us out!" she banged on the door.
Evilin looked over to Henry and watched as Caroline moved over to him. She looked over his arm seeing that the pirates had not just pulled the arrow out, but patched him up rather expertly.
"What do you think they want with us?" Caroline asked.
Her question got Rachael's attention and she stopped trying for the door. Rachael wanted to say ransom, but why all of them. Caroline's family was the richest out of all of them. All they needed was her really.
Rachael walked over to Caroline and was quick to notice the tears already forming in the young girls eyes.
Even if they never really got along most of the time, Rachael did love her cousins. Without them... Who else would she be able to pick on.
She wrapped her arms around Caroline just as the girl's tears started to fall.
Henry stayed in his chair as he was trying to over come the throbbing pain in his body. He looked to Evilin with hazed over eyes and motioned for her to come over to them.
Evilin didn't waist a second as she too rushed over to them. She wrapped her arms around Henry and couldn't stop the tears.
Rachael and Henry did their best to comfort the two girls. They both had solid ideas as to why the pirates took them. Caroline would be for money... But the rest of them... Dark thoughts clouded their minds as they wished that the room would disappear and they would be back on their uncle's ship heading home.
