"Please tell me you don't believe that?" Rachel stated.

The man sitting across from her at the table tried to stop the smirk creasing his lips. "I over heard the sailors talking about above deck." He glanced to his right to two other young ladies. "They even said that the Black Ale is still at large too." At this point the young man could not hold back his laugh.

Rachel at the same time busted out laughing as well.

Both dressed for no occasion and both holding similar features to their beauty.

Rachel was a young woman with long beautiful blonde golden hair. Her fair skin and green eyes made competition obsolete. Her dress made by hand and crafted to match her beauty, although it did not matter what she wore.

The man across from her was her older cousin Henry. Tall, slim with fair skin, light brown short wavy hair and brown eyes. His features were hansom and charming. Any woman would swoon over this tall glass of cherry wine.

The two girls at the other end of the table were younger. Sitting in their late teens, both Evilin and Caroline were distant relatives of both Henry and Rachel. Caroline was thin, pale skin and had long light red hair that didn't help her status from home. Her father was indeed rich beyond words, but he could not do much fr her average looks when it came to Rachel. Her hazel eyes watched the two as they joked about the stories from the sailors.

Caroline looked to Evilin in hopes of finding someone with similar thoughts on the matter.

Evilin was small for her age, light brown hair that waved and curled here or there, her hazel eyes were not so bright like her cousins nor did her skin look pale or fair. It sat roughly in the middle, but held her young beauty.

Evilin forced a smile as best as she could towards the subject as the four sat below deck in the mess hall of the ship.

Rachel looked to the two quiet girls and held her laugh back. She cleared her throat a bit as she studied the two for a minute. "Do you believe in the tall tails of the Black Ale Evilin?" Rachel asked. She tilted her head as she placed her delicate fingers upon the table.

Evilin blinked at the thought. The story was a bit out there. "Well if it happened seventy years ago..." Evilin failed to finish her thoughts as Caroline rushed into the conversation.

"It's down right dumb." Caroline narrowed her eyes at Rachel and Henry. "A storm swallowing up the Outlaw's secret islands in the north ocean followed by a damned crew that sails the ten seas that was to doomed to die more than fifty years ago." Her tone of voice was filled with aggravation and frustration as she gave Henry and Rachel a dull look. "Can we 'please' talk about something else for a change? We're stuck on this ship for another three days and for the past week it's been nothing but the Black Ale and the gruesome tail of how they died and rage upon the living." Caroline looked to Evilin in hopes her cousin would agree.

Evilin on the other hand felt silence to be the only answer at this point. She somewhat agreed with Caroline. The talk of the Black Ale was getting old... But she did find the stories amusing at times. Evilin looked to the table finding her book and quill. She had planned on writing some today...

Rachel rolled her eyes as Henry adjusted the somewhat shocked look on his face.

Rachel let out a breath through her red lips before looking back to Caroline. "And you wonder why no one is lining up to marry you?" she shook her head with a pity look. "All that negative talk and self centered attitude is not very attractive... is it?" Rachel twisted her lips with a nod.

Caroline puffed out her cheeks as she quickly got up from the table and stormed off.

"Caroline wait!" Evilin rushed to grab her things.
